Michigan State should be top 5 after today.

No, top 10. I'd still take Auburn, Stanford, Mizzou, and Clemson over MSU.

You do know they have lost to Utah and USC, right?

Correct.
But, honestly who has MSU played that merits them to jump Stanford?
Stanford has 5 wins over ranked teams, MSU has 1 at this point.

Stanford has 4 wins over ranked teams.
I know MSU didn't lose to a 4-7 Utah team who is winless in the Pac12 besides their win over Stanford.

Fresno State hasn't lose to Notre Dame. Should they be ahead of Michigan State?

Stanford has beaten 5 ranked teams, 3 in the top 15, including 3 straight over ranked teams. MSU can't say that.

Record of MSU losses
8-3
Record of Stanford losses 12-10

# of MSU losses 1
# of Stanford losses 2
Stanford is more beatable than MSU
MSU should be ranked above Stanford.

Rankings are bullshit anyway. Florida was ranked in the top 25 for most of the season and they just lost to an FCS school. LOL

Let me go ahead and just tweak the F4F sentence.

"I know Fresno State didn't lose to anyone, unlike Michigan State".

But yeah, swing and a miss.

And in case you didn't catch it, my point was how stupid that argument was to say MSU should be ahead of Stanford. I'm in no way saying Fresno State should be ahead of MSU.

I understand ya, but just am saying Stanford's overall and best is better than MSU has this year. As in, Stanford's good trumps MSU's.
That is how I rank teams.

When you're undefeated, the championship is all that matters. If it isn't, you're doing it wrong.

But, if the 2 teams ahead of you are better, it doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter.

Buckeyes need to win out and hope Alabama gets beat either by Auburn or in the SEC championship to have a shot. Possible but I wouldn't put money on it.

The Rose Bowl is a great "consolation" prize.

Probably a minority opinion but Florida State is not better than Ohio State. They're good but I'm not buying the Kool aid.
