This is where you bring in chapman. You can't lose this game after being up 6-2

Homer gonna get his win!

But they hit the ball hard a lot.

Great game to view. I was about 12 feet from the Cespedes warning track pop up.

Unfortunately, even in MLB, it happens way too often. If you properly execute it and get the out quickly, the batter should have no chance to get to 2B. In my opinion they fail to aggressively go at the runner and make the pinch point away from a base.

Was it a base hit or was the runner at third and then they got him in a rundown? If that was the case...yeah..that is just bad play

That's high confidence in Chapman, who seems shaky to me, with his 100 mph getting hit way too easily, and who gave up a HR just last night, and a catcher that seems to have a lot of trouble catching his pitches.

I don't know for sure. I'm just reading the play by play:

1 out, tying runner on 3rd. Parra's first batter.
Ball, Strike looking, Ball, Norris reached on fielder's choice to shortstop, Sogard out at home, Norris to second advancing on throw.

Chappy not shaky!

Flat out gas to torch Lowrie to end game. 103 mph final pitch...sensational!

*first time since 2002 Corky had multiple extra base hits
*first time ever in his professional career he had 2 doubles in a game
*103 mph....fastest pitch to ever end a game

There's always something unique when you go to a game.

Think I saw ESPN have it at 103.something. So...is this the start to the tenth of the second.

I think it was 102.6(which rounds to 103).
