I was at my brother's house last week and my niece wanted to play the new MarioKart on their Ninteno Wii U? I didn't know there was such a thing. Game was pretty sweet. The N64 version was the best and I know they've had newer ones since then that have been letdowns. Maybe I should stop playing the same Assassin's Creed games and invest in that.

Anyone picking up Dying Light? I'm undecided...Seems like more of a $30 used purchase for me...

I'm probably grabbing The Order in February, Bloodborne for sure in March, and my most highly anticipated game, The Witcher 3, in May...can't wait for that one.

I'm wrapping up Sunset Overdrive right now...Fun game, has held my interest and I think I'm nearing the end.

I bought Halo MCC and GTA V and haven't really played either of them...I'll probably put some time into those until the above mentioned games are released.

Just recently bought Diablo III for the PS3. Campaigning with the 'Wizard'. Pretty sweet game so far. Obviously a lot like the original Diablo game for PlayStation (or was that for the PS2?).

Yeah I'm working on it right now, what are you having trouble with? It is rather difficult. I'm trying to do side missions to level up my skills more, the weapons are incredibly weak in the early part of the game it seems.

I realize it's one of those games where you should hold back and improve your skills and weapons before messing with the main missions. Perhaps I'm not appreciating that enough. Anyways, I was doing the first mission for Rais but most of my weapons are broken and I seem to be missing one part from upgrading/crafting anything.

I just bought it recently, too, for the 360, but probably won't get to it for a long while due to backlog.

The first Diablo was PC and ported to PS1. In the most annoying way possible. The official PS1 memory cards had what? 16 or 24 blocks, with most games taking 1-2? Diablo took 13. How in the...?

I've been loving it. I started with a Wizard. I'm at about a Level 30-ish or so. Just completed Act 1. My Wizard is pretty badass. His Chain Lightning (X) and Fire Beam (R1/2) is pretty deadly. Loving the game so far.

Diablo 2(or Warcraft 3) is the PC game I've played the most and had been waiting for Blizz to release D3 for such a long time. Bought it on release day and WOW game was fucking terrible. I heard the expansion and patches made it much better but I will never try it again.

I bought the Reaper of Souls edition for the PS3, and it's been great.

I went ahead and ordered "Dying Light" for PS4 to hold me over til Bloodborne.

Was on the fence on "the Order 1886" but I just can't justify the full price purchase for a 6-8 hour campaign...It looks great and I'm sure I'll pick it up in the next few months, when I can snag it for around $30 used.

Over the weekend, I got to play it for a while with a friend. I was a barbarian, he was a wizard. Good times. I loved how fast-paced the action was and how the skills worked together. We eventually got this cool groove going on where he started out by freezing everything for me to attack. After they un-froze, I'd break out a skill where I'd ground-pound to stun everything around me, which made it easy to clear out weaker enemies before they could do much of anything.

Explain bolded. Are you more so poking fun at the no multiplayer? Or is the campaign actually suppose to be notoriously short?

Not poking fun, I'm totally fine with single player only games, half the time the MP is just tacked on crap...Although from what I've seen, I think this game could have some sweet MP (reminds me of Gears of War a little).

I was referring to a leaked youtube video showing someone complete the game in just 5 hours...Granted they weren't exploring a ton, but they also weren't doing a speedrun.

People on the Neogaf forums have weighed in (people who have played the full game), and nearly all of them are clocking in at 7-8 hours max....Which is OK I guess for this type of cinematic game, but hard to justify a full $60 price...

I played Skyrim for like 200 hours and bought it for $60, that was a good value....a 7-8 hour campaign feels more like a $30 game to me, then I'll trade it back in as soon as I beat it.

edit: reviews are hitting today...not looking too good http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=995216

I'm usually a more of a user review person, so I'll wait to check those out...

The Wizard's 'Frost Nova' is deadly. It's HUGE for freezing that little gold gremlin that coughs up all the rare items before disappearing into a black hole. I'm surprised that skill is so low on popular skills list >> http://diablo.somepage.com/popular/wizard

Bloodborne timeeeeeeeeee. Seriously pumped for this one.

Just finished Dying Light on Saturday night...I kind of rushed the main story since I knew I would be be busy with Bloodborne. Dying Light was pretty solid, held my interest...Started to get a little frustrating/repetitive towards the end, glad it ended when it did and no interested in going back to do more side quests, but it was a solid 7-8/10.

I didn't plan to get it, but it is apparently on sale for $40 next week at Best Buy, so I'll probably jump on that.

The beta wasn't great, but the user impressions of the full release have my interest, and I love me some battlefield.

its the only game that looks remotely interesting lately. none of the other games seem to be living up to the hype. at least with a shooter, you know what your getting into.

I've yet to play hard line online. Don't have the time right now. But I've heard really good things about it
