What is your favorite American Muscle Car of the 60 /70’s?</SPAN></SPAN>

As a one time owner of a 64 GTO (loved that car) and after Nam a 71 Dodge Charge R/T (so much fun) it hard to make this call. Love to have both back now. </SPAN></SPAN>

Lets not forget other great classic muscle cars, 66 Corvette Stingray, 66 Shelby</SPAN> Cobra, Chevy SS Impala, 68 Ford Cobra Mustang … just to name a few more</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN>

Lots to pick from in those days, it was a great time for cars and a greater time to grow-up, cruising mofo</SPAN></SPAN>

With old memories, once owned and love to drive… I like to have my 64 GTO back it was my favorite.. </SPAN></SPAN>

69 Dodger Charger is my all time favorite muscle car.

Then probably the 68 Bullitt Mustang.

My dad owns a 1973 Z28 Camaro. I would love to have it one day, but I know my brother feels the same way.

Not his, but it looks just like it.

I don't believe that's a picture of a 1969...The 69 had a different body.

My first car was a 1969 El Camino. Chrome cragar S/S rims and an SS hood.

This isn't it but looks similar from a distance. The car in pic is a lot cleaner and less rust than my old car.

Your pic is of a 70's or later. The 69 has a front end like the one in Said's 69 El Camino picture.

1974 Chevy Nova. Best car I ever owned. 350 would haul.

Cars like this were the norm back then.

Now I hear the 4 cyclinder "rice poppers" hum by with their wimpy glass packs and just SMH and laugh.

Except many of those 4 cyl's are putting out nearly the same HP as those old v8's. In a lot lighter car.

I have always loved the 70-73 Trans AM's. I actually had a 73 non-super duty for a while but ended up selling it when I didn't want to put in the work necessary to get it where I wanted it to be.

The 73-74 455 super duty's were really the last of the true muscle cars in the US before they started neutering the engines after the oil embargo. So much untapped potential in those motors for what was really a cheap factory option that not many upgraded to.

Considering Joe Dirt's Hemi was a '67 Plymouth GTX, I'm going to have to say no, dummy. The closer one I mentioned would have been the '69 Charger he drove in the movie, but, I stated an R/T, not a Daytona, so you'd still be wrong. Nice try though gym teacher!

Whatever. All I'm saying is the Honda 1.8L 4banger (SI) is 200HP and 170 lb-ft. A heck of a little engine.

The standard GM 350 v8 was the LM1 base 5.7 L (350 cu in) with a 4-barrel carburetor (usually with a Rochester Quadrajet) 155-175 hp engine in passenger cars until 1988.

I double checked because I was curious. After further research it IS a 1970. The 71 had single headlights with the similar smaller body style.

As for me I like ANY of the old MOPARS and very fond of the 67 GTO.

The Wife wants a 68 LeMans. Purple with a white vinyl top, just like the car her Dad once owned.

I am a fan of the old chargers. Dad had two when I was growing up both had hemis in them. He also had two hemis in crates in his garage that he bought from a dealership when they went out of business. Some guy come by and offered my dad 20k for all of them back in mid 80s and he sold em all. I wish he would have just kept one of the cars.
