The guys in the clubhouse know who's a slacker and who's not. If you bench Swisher on the basis of that one play, you'd risk a lot of hard feelings and lose alot of respect. Earlier in the year, Kipnis didn't run out a dropped third strike...do think he's a slacker?


Albers gets the first two, and is now working himself into a jam with walks to Miggie and Prince....:thumbdown:

Great execution in the bottom of the ninth and the usual great relief pitching in the 10th. Tickets will be easy to come by because the casual fan is not going to pay to watch this shit

I dunno. I don't see how you can be behind a decision to let a guy who has been a AAAA player for a few years and is in the midst of his FIRST ever hot streak. You have to take the bat out of his hands, imo

grrrr. outmanaged . Drew Stubbs on second and nobody out...and never moved. If you want to beat the Tigers you have to attack their defense with speed.

I don't care how hot a bat Chiz is swinging, you have to move the speedy runner to third.....and then bring in an experienced bat to hit for Gomes who was clueless all nite at the plate. Tito played it safe and didn't go for the win when it was in his reach.
