Hey dumbass we already have a workout thread. Oh wait.....that is the thread we are on.

No reason why we can not discuss different opinions on a particular subject in one thread. I'm not constantly saying one is right while the other is wrong.

Hope this helps. Or in other words grow up etb you fucking jackass.

Hoping for some suggestions. I was squatting today and started having pain on the outside of my knee, right next to my knee cap. Is this because of poor form? If not, does anyone have any knee support suggestions? I only feel the pain during squats, i haven't felt it at all during rows or deadlifts.

If you can somehow get ahold of the old style (blue) Rehband knee sleeves, do it. I wear them on my elbows & knees. They not only give support but they warm the joint. Most of the dudes in the World's Strongest Man competition use these. Unfortunately, they quit making them a few years back and replaced them with a gray model. From what I've been told, the gray is inferior to the blue but I can't speak on this since I've never used the blue. You might also want to see a doc. :D

I've thought about buying those, but they're $40 each. To me it seems pretty pricing for a knee sleeve. I'm going to try rolling my IT bands more, hopefully it's just some tightness.

Worth EVERY penny. I used to have to use competition knee wraps, even when using lighter weights (315 lbs +/-) and now I just slip these things on and I'm gold.

Hey auto (or br), do you still have a link to that site associated with IF. It's not leangains, but it pretty much used the same diet. It has work out plans and shit. You posted it awhile ago (the old workout thread), but I can't find it.

Interesting part of her evidence is comparing how a Kenyon marathoner looks to a Jamaican sprinter.
That is like comparing Lance Armstrong to Arnold schwarzenegger and saying "look how much healthier weightlifting is because Arnold is bigger! Sprinters and distance runners are two COMPLETELY different athletes.

I bought 2 5mm sleeves for $30. Couldn't pull the trigger on $90. THey have the same design and materials so i think they'll do just fine. I've been foam rolling more too, hopefully that helps as well.

Must be a supply & demand thing. I don't recall paying nearly as much as that for my blue Rehbands.

As an FYI/update, this Maddog Slingshot is a boss. Handling very heavy weights which seem to be stimulating growth, especially in the tricep area.

Thanks, exactly what I was looking for. I don't know much about macros, but I plan to learn and follow it.

Chest, back, biceps, triceps, calves, abs; yeah, I like that feel after a workout.
Glutes, shoulders, thighs, hammys; NO!

Hamstrings & quads are THE worst after heavy squats after a layoff. It's not the next day but the following day where the "rigor mortis" sets in. It's a bitch to walk up or down steps and sitting down is a chore.

I agree, the second morning after leg day is a nightmare.
