I'm stuck at work, but from what I'm reading online it sounds like Microsoft has shown off some impressive things so far...

Can't wait to watch it all tonight after work.

So, timed exclusive DLC for BF3 and COD...

I have a feeling all of this complaining about MS's used games policies and Kinect privacy, etc. will be forgotten and Xbox 360 will still be the more popular console for online games next gen.We'll see, I'm still undecided on which I'm going to preorder...

...Unless PS4 steals the show later.

New Halo announced....and the price tag:

$499, November release.

That's about $100 over what I was expecting...

Me either..I actually haven't bought any DLC/map packs in 2-3 years...But it's usually several weeks to a couple months early, and for some reason is a big deal to a lot of people....I'm with you, though.

It's that forced Kinect...I might be interest in Kinect because I have 2 little kids, but they shouldn't force that stuff in the box for people who don't give a crap.

The leaked info I saw had BOTH PS4 and Xbox being under $400...so who knows now.

Sony is today also, 9pm est I think.

I am geared more towards the media aspect anymore, but I didn't see the Killer system seller. When xbox360 released, for me it was Gears of War, even though it got pushed back.

Well I mean it's 8 years later, I don't see a huge deal about the 499 price tag, especially if it's going to last for 5-8 years.

As far as it being geared more towards media, that doesn't really concern me either. Some of the best games I have ever played have been within the last few years on the XBox 360 and I don't think they will forget about hardcore gamers. The only concern I have is the used game issue, which I'm hearing now that it will be up to the publishers whether or not they put restrictions on the games.

They're probably counting "Halo" as that kind of system selling game..Which I can see, I'm just not a huge fan of the series myself, or the online multiplayer.

499 really isnt that big of a deal or much of a surprise to me. Its only 100$ more than when 360 released years ago, and pretty much what I expected it to cost.

I'm thinking it will be around $60 still, with a chance of discounted digital titles on Xbox One at least....Disc copy in stores for $59.99, digital copy on release day for $50 or $55 maybe?
