Lets us cover about 1 football game a year cause UT is the best program ever and ESPN will pick them up. That doesn't happen so he calls us back to cover them and is a dick again. We aren't allowed to cover games live cause people won't show up and will stay at home to watch (give me a break lol, live tv ain't why you have bad attendance).

Then I get to work a few games with ESPN when they did pick up some games. Bent over backwards for us. He is a total dick, sorry. Completely full of himself and the program thinking they are bigger than they are.
I can verify this. When they played EMU they stayed at a hotel someone I know west of Detroit runs. Well anyways the AD came by to visit the hotel before the team came, and was absolutely crazy on what the team needed. Made them get special signs for each rooms, wanted to make sure "no public" were in the hallways between meeting rooms when they were in session as the team couldn't handle such attention and distraction. Then they had to have proper snacks and the guy even considered possibly having security at the hotel for the team:confused:

Those kind of requests are probably pretty common.

I suppose it depends on the hotel. My wedding weekend several guests and me stayed in the same hotel the Arizona basketball team was staying in. The 'Zona guys and Lute Olson acted like regular guests.

But on a side note...isnt Toledo football and girl's basketball about the only thing they are decent in?
They average @ 20K+ per home game. I'm not sure where that ranks in the MAC, but if I had to guess I'd say it's in the upper tier. As far as the major sports go, yes, it's mainly football and women's bball. Their mens bball is on the rise, but are still a year or two away from challenging for a MAC title.
That being said, IMO academically they're on par with one another. If you'll be closer to work and can save $$$ on gas, it makes sense to make the switch.

BGSU is a more fun party school, and probably has easier sluts. That has to go into the equation.

Judging by the STD rep, I'd say you're right.

STD's or not what impresses me about BG is it's a much better community. UT is you go to class and go home, sure you can join clubs but it's not worth it when you have to drive 30 minutes to class daily. I like that I can live by college kids and do college things, something UT barely has. Really the bars around campus are lame, the surrounding neighborhoods suck west of campus and again living is really expensive around there for what you get

Since you are not majoring in engineering, sounds like a practical reason to me.

Sounds like you've got your mind made up. UT is a commuter college, BG is not. Move on.
