So I'm thinking about transferring from UT to BG. Think it's a good idea? I've only done like 50 credit hours there and it's basically all pre-reqs, and most importantly it'll all go over seamlessly. I won't lie though it's pretty lame there and am sick of commuting a good 30-35 minutes a day when I could find a cheap place to live in BG and be closer to my work actually. So would I be screwing up big leaving UT?

Yes, you'd be screwing up. Plus you will get an STD.

UT Athletics are full of themselves and can fuck off.

Go to BGSU.

Although, Stroh Center is full of blowhard security people who think they are secret service. But still better than UT thinking they are in the Big Ten.

What are you studying? Is one school much better in your program than the other?

Your current school explains most of your posts. They both suck ass, so I would go with what's cheaper.

Also etb went to BGSU. That's all I would need to know to never attend that school.

Geography and I'd say they're about the same. I will say BG has been a little more forthcoming to me about the program and my opportunities. Plus since I've applied and been approved they've blown up my stuff giving me info about the place

I enjoyed my time at UT and my brother enjoyed his time at BG. Both are fine.

I believe BG has a decent geography department. My undergrad advisor went to teach meteorology/geography there for a year and he seemed to like it.

Obviously I'm partial to OU's geography department, but that's neither here nor there

You might want to consider a different major instead of just a different school.

BG is about as ugly as it gets, plus UT is considering selling beer and wine at games to boost attendance.

They're both practically the same school so it won't make a difference

Outside of academics, is there really a big difference between the two? They're both MAC schools, about 20 miles apart, with similar enrollment figures. If all your courses transfer and it's a closer drive, then it probably doesn't make a difference. Do you know people at BGSU that you could live and hang out with?

By the way, I think that BGSU requires anyone not of junior status to live on campus. You might want to double-check that before you go enrolling. Then again, since everything went to semesters, I'm not even sure what's considered freshmen/sophomore/junior based on credit hours. Your 50 credit hours might be safe.

tl;dr: I'm not sure about anything I've just typed.

Not a cameraman. Have direct contact with their AD who is a dick to us all the time. Lets us cover about 1 football game a year cause UT is the best program ever and ESPN will pick them up. That doesn't happen so he calls us back to cover them and is a dick again. We aren't allowed to cover games live cause people won't show up and will stay at home to watch (give me a break lol, live tv ain't why you have bad attendance).

Then I get to work a few games with ESPN when they did pick up some games. Bent over backwards for us. He is a total dick, sorry. Completely full of himself and the program thinking they are bigger than they are.

Wasnt aware Toledo football had bad attendance. Well, it still might be bad, but I'd figure better than the majority of the MAC lol.

But on a side note...isnt Toledo football and girl's basketball about the only thing they are decent in?
