Well, the offense got it going again versus Cole Hamels and the Tribe looks to continue that momentum into the series versus Seattle. The run continues of AT LEAST splitting the series, a streak that started April 19th...or 9 series' ago. Right after the got Swept by Boston they came back and got on track vs. Houston.

Sunday will be the marquee match-up with Mr. Clean going for us and King Felix for the bad guys.

Go Tribe!

Tribe has the offense, defense & bullpen to be in this thing until the end. Still think they'll need one, maybe two, frontline starting pitchers to be legit. I'm ok with Masterson & McAllister but after that, too dicey.

Probably been mentioned but analysts are now saying Lindor may be the BEST prospect in all of the majors, not just the Tribe system (I don't get on these threads often).

I saw that. I read where he will most likely be the number 1 prospect in next years rankings. He should be mlb ready after next season maybe even late next season

Heard an MLB analyst on the radio yesterday that feels the Tribe/Cards will swing a trade deadline deal. Asdrubel to STL for their top pitching prospect who apparently is "MLB ready...is throwing 'darts' and can't crack the Cards current rotation because of it's depth." I didn't catch the pitchers name though.

If Bauer could step up and they were to get another frontline type guy, I'd feel a lot more comfortable as the season wore on. Kazmir's arm could go at any moment, Kluber is kind of a journeyman type and Fausto Jr (Ubaldo) is a headcase.

I would really like to keep Bauer in the rotation. He is only going to get better by staying up here. He just needs to locate better. He can get away with it a lot bc his stuff is so good. Once Bauer hits his location he will be very very good. I know before the season they were talking about a trade with the cards, drubs for Lynn. I don't think we trade him this year, maybe during the offseason unless he willing to play 3rd base where we can sign him long term

As for ubaldo, I can't stand the fact he gives us 3-4 great starts and then goes back to being terrible. Just when you think it has finally clicked for him, he lets you down

I'll be there Saturday. After the game it will transition into my bachelor party, so anyone else going should probably buy me drinks so I'm good and lubed up before that.

Planned on going to Friday and Saturday's games, but I just decided against it earlier this week.

Seattle has been playing good ball recently. They've been hitting pretty well with Seager at 3, Morales at 4, and Morse at 5. You guys will have fun with Maurer for one inning and he'll limit the other innings he's in. That's what it seems he does. One bad inning, but I can't remember his last outing. I know he got skipped in the Pirates series. He pitched against the A's I believe. Then Saunders on Saturday. He has been getting lit up all year, but had a good outing his last time on the bump. Felix and Kuma will piss you off Sunday and Monday.

Hoping for a Seattle series win!

Mariners always play us tough...even when they blow. 2 of 3 always the goal but would be nice to get all 3 because the Tigers should have their hands full this weekend in Texas.

Pestano was activated today. Should be available in the pen.

Didn't see that game on Monday. Big advantage to the home team on a getaway day where the visitors are flying 2500 miles after the game and the home is staying put.

3 of 4 is the goal then.

72 pitches through 4 for Ubaldo. Best case is 6 innings tonight. But if he can get 2 more scoreless then he did his job. He looks like he is close to losing it.

That's what I like to see out of Ubaldo. Ripping a 94 mph fastball by a guy on a 3-2 count when he knows it coming.

You have to pull him if he doesn't get an out here

He got it. Turned her up to 95 and blew it by Morales. That ought to do it for him though. 5 innings, 1 run, 6 hits, 2 walks and 9 Ks. 95 pitches. In line for the win. Turn it over to your rested up bullpen.

Dumb. Why even send him out there? Now you have to bring a reliever in with a guy on.

There ya go Tito. Felt you owed it to him to let him get 6 innings and now he gets a no decision for a solid start. Relievers are so much better if they have a clean slate.

EDIT: Might not have mattered since Rich Hill is throwing batting practice tonight.
