There's something about this team that I really like. They're always smiling and seemingly having fun. It's a great team to support.

Not sure how we just took 2 out of 3 from what might be the greatest team in the history of baseball. I honestly thought they would invoke the mercy rule for this series to save the tribe some humiliation

I don't know if this was a statement series or not. But it should help build confidence. It's always good to take a series in Kittytown. Liked how McAllister kept them in the game, even though it was obvious he wasn't pitching with his best stuff. This is the kind of a win that really builds team chemistry. It's pretty clear this team is having fun.

BTW....they knocked around Verlander again tonight.
I agree completely that this team is more talented than the ones we've fielded the past few years. However, with that being said, Mark Reynold WILL NOT keep batting .300 on the season, and Santana won't keep hitting .380. Don't get me wrong, I like who/what we've got, I was simply saying that I think Francona has got these guys believing they are better than they are. As a result, we are winning some games that we should lose on paper.

That's the great thing about the game! It's not played on paper!

Now that Cleveland has a first place team, will people support this team and start showing up to the games?

Tomorrows double header against NYY should be a pretty good crowd and next weeks games against Detroit should be great turnouts also.

Probably could be a wealthy man right now had you bet on the odds of 4 teams being over .500 still on mother's day in the AL central.

18/30 MLB teams are over .500.

It sure helps to have Miami, Houston, the Chicago's and a few other underachievers (LAA, LAD, TOR) all being so bad.

The good thing is they dont need to keep hitting that well through the whole season....just when it counts.

True on Reynolds and Santana. But Kipnis is just now starting to swing the bat well. He has points to gain. So does Cabrera. Bourn has been hurt. So its not like the whole team has been playing over their heads. Maybe Reynolds and Santana cool off but then other guys get hot and carry the offense for a couple weeks. This team is much deeper 1-9 in the lineup than we are used to. In the last couple years, if Cabrera wasn't getting on and santana wasn't knocking him in...we would struggle to score.
