Why they didn't use their final timeout is beyond me.

As the announcers said, BYU's coach was definitely signaling for a timeout, but #5 was apparently hellbent on being a hero.

Looks like Georgetown is having trouble containing national power Northeastern. Game tied at 44 with about seven minutes to play at The Paradise Jam. That then raises the question of just how deep does nepotism run in Landover and why is John Thompson III still employed. I don't have official numbers in front of me, but he has to have more upset defeats than any other big-time coach in the country.

Looks like Georgetown is already in NCAA tournament form.

Northeastern +15.5 was the easier money I have ever made.

Of course, I thought UMASS -3.5 vs. Nebraska was as much of a lock, and while I won, it was a nail biter lol.

Lol I took NW as well. I agree that was probably the easiest CBB bet this year.

I was able to watch some of the game and there is no doubt who the better team was. Georgetown is not that great.

Doesn't mean JTIII should get a pass, though. With 2006-07 as an obvious outlier, Georgetown has been nothing but mediocre when it counts during Thompson's tenure. Which is still better than the shape the program was in under Craig Esherick. So maybe they're content with being in contention for Top 25 polls each year..

Lots of good games tonight with the 2K sports classic. Excited.

I've watched Washington play every game this year and they are not anywhere close to an NCAA Tournament team. But Chris Wilcox is fun to watch. Hoping for a good game, but if Indiana has brushed its early-season dust off, I look for the Hoosiers to win easily.

Lol just realized I put a W instead of an E. And no I didn't lose.

But fucking VCU needs to step their shit up.

A little throw-back to the last time Indiana played at The Garden...

Yes, Bob Knight made the team walk to the arena from the hotel...carrying their own uniforms...lol

Bobby Knight is so awesome. Still the greatest of all-time IMO. It's hard for even me to put K ahead of him considering he was basically K's basketball teacher.

UMass blew out New Mexico. They are now 5-0. Impressive team.

I think the Lobos were just running on empty after the 2OT game the night before. Their lack of depth really hurt them today. But UMass was indeed impressive. Without question their best team since the Calipari days. Chaz Williams makes that offense incredibly fun to watch.

Maybe I missed something, but what's up with McGary coming off the bench? I know he's coming off an injury, but he played 33 minutes.

I watched most of the Michigan game and didn't hear anything during the broadcast. Maybe they were just ushering him back into things slowly at the start. Not sure.

Indiana-UConn has been sort of lower scoring than I expected, but has the makings of a down-to-the-wire finish. The Hoosiers starting to wake of offensively.

Not a bright 10 seconds for Napier. First the 30-footer and then the offensive foul.

But what an all-out battle tonight between Napier and Yogi Ferrell. This was a great second half of action.

Napier finishes with 27 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists on 10-of-14 shooting. Almost spooky how much he resembles Kemba Walker, if not in pure stats in just the ability to lead his team almost single-handedly to victory down the stretch of a game. Although, this Connecticut team has some other pretty good weapons. Kevin Ollie has a team that could make a very long run come spring.
