I didn't fail to mention how Greg did as a senior.

Just to name 2 that played at Duke that Paulus shouldn't even be named in the same breath as. 3pt shooting does NOT classify someone as being great offensively.[
Yes, an outstanding three-point shooter can be classified as a great offensive player. Andre Dawkins averaged 7.9 points per game this season, but shot 42% from beyond the arc (closer to 50% through February), including making 4+ triples in a game seven times and 6+ triples twice. At Pittsburgh, Dawkins scored 20 points and hit six threes, four of which he made in the last 12 minutes of the game to lead Duke to victory. He was a feared offensive player because of his shooting. As was Greg Paulus before Coach K decided to go in another direction at point guard with Nolan Smith. At the end of Paulus' junior season, however, he was 11th all-time in the ACC in career three-point field goal %.

And yes, we can agree to disagree on the Duke hate. Who cares what Grant Hill says. He is a Duke player. Bias. I like your posts, nothing against you, no dislike for Duke at all (Coach K fan here)...but you are sensitive in the same way many ND football fans are. The hate for Duke is what I said, its the highly successful program at a highly academic institution, coached by a great coach. Happened at places like ND as well as IU when Knight was the coach. Its not about race.
Absolutely I agree with Duke being hated largely for its success on the court as well as the unparalleled achievements -- in the modern landscape -- of its head coach. When you are the winningest and most dominant program in college basketball for 25 years, people begin to dislike you and want to see you lose. It's human nature. I just believe that Duke's many high-profile white players also add to that anti-Duke dynamic. But we can agree to disagree on that.
