Not butthurt at all. Its obvious you are the one thats butthurt, writing a couple hundred word responses when nobody even gives a shit. Wish I had that time, but hey, Im not a fat ass who spends all day being a dick head on a forum because I have nothing better to do with my life.

You're still talking about this? LOL, yeah dont care at all. We get it little guy.

I don't care at all, yet I'm going to foolishly agrue about something I know nothing about including citing garbage papers by other idiots. Then when the facts get thrown in my face and am humiliated looking like an asshat with my foot in my mouth I'll say I don't care. Bc clearly I dont! /pickfaillogic

Most dietary changes that seem to have realistic levels of success all seem to have one thing in common: a lowering of carbohydrate intake. Inasmuch as the paleo diet does this, it may indeed be successful, but the initial article makes a good point that the foundation of it assumes that our ancestors essentially had a completely developed dietary system in place, given their surroundings.

If that could be substantiated, even then, there wouldn't necessarily be anything proven about its health benefits being based on that fact, but since that fact cannot be substantiated, it's moot.

It should be worth noting that it isn't inherently a worthless diet. Its quality simply isn't substantiated beyond any skepticism.

So sorry to disappoint, but there are substantiated facts that do corroborate that at least two elements of the paleo diet are healthy. The fact that it is "paleo" is not proven to be one of them, but lower carbohydrate intake and emphasis on non-processed foods both are. Those aren't exclusive to paleo, though.

The diet itself isn't terrible. The premise behind it, whether real or marketing, is a little bit silly. Write a few lines on the reasoning behind the diet, then substitute the words "medical treatment" for "diet". You'll look like a wackadoodle.
