Two things I have always held to... Smoke in any form is not natural for the lungs. The second, just because it's natural doesn't necessarily mean it's good. (Hemlock, poison ivy, oak an sumac.)

Lastly, because it's the people voting yeah or nay, there's not much to say.

even IF it would impact the cartels, you be better prepared for the violence that will cross the border when the owners of mom and pop try and compete with the cartels. will you be ready when owners of dispenseries are found hanging from bridges. they literally breed violence down there, yet we expect them to just throw in the towel if we legalize weed?

I don't think my issue is state-driven as much as it is personal. And while I get the "Don't like it, don't do it" montra, every now and again, when I step back and look at where we are, I see a decline in who we are as people (indivudally) and as a people (society). As individuals, and as an extension, society at large, we have relegated nobility/honor/morality/ethics/virtue (or all of them separately) in pursuit of our rights and freedoms.
