Indiana, Kentucky, defending national champion Louisville and many others have offered Exum a scholarship.
May be an epic recruitment. Other than Mudiay, he's the player I want most in this draft. At least for UK, we won't need bigs with Johnson (likely) and Lee back, along with Towns. However, they will definitely need some guards. Exum is a SG/SF who can play PG too.

I have a terrible feeling. Im not sure the last time IU landed a recruit when they were the open leader for quite a bit of time.
Kyrie
Pinson
Stephenson
Ebanks (I guess he committed, but then left when Sampson was fired)
Now you have Exum. IU will probably lead forever and then UK or LV will land him. Fuck.

IU
Louisville
Illinois
Tennessee
OSU and UT could be swapped. But the 1st 3 are pretty much locks I think.
I also don't see him anywhere but IU or Louisville.

I think he is a lock for Louisville. Would be very surprised to see him go anywhere else.

I think it is 50-50 between them and might depend on Dante Exum

Yep. Well, more you. As I am 99% IU will be in it till the end. But yeah. I love how he apparently decided without talking to parents and then they had to intervene lolTiger2003;1456872 wrote:Haha got us all excited for nothing.

Damn. I nailed Tennessee as the 4th...but it was the 3rd. I didnt see Illinois being left out. Certainly not for Florida!

Sounds as if Lyle's came close to committing to Tennessee, before picking Louisville.

Yep, I underestimated the Cuonzo Martin connection in Evansville. He made a strong case.Tiger2003;1463519 wrote:Sounds as if Lyle's came close to committing to Tennessee, before picking Louisville.

On the bright side, he was option #2 for me. I want Dante Exum and this helps in that case. I cant see him picking Louisville now, which was supposed to be a major player.

Been hearing that Carolina is probably no longer an option for Rashad Vaughn.
Vaughn seriously considered committing to Carolina on an unofficial visit last year, but at the urging of his family, he decided to wait. Since then, something has changed with his recruitment. It appears, at this point, that Vaughn and Roy have both moved on, but hopefully that's just a rumor.
He's a great player. The team that gets him will certainly get one of the best players in the 2014 class.

Sounds like from what I've read that if Vaughn got a UK offer, he'd be in. UK hasn't offered yet, despite him having an official visit scheduled. Appears they don't want to spook Mudiay from committing...

I've heard that Vaughn's family wants him at UK for sure.Azubuike24;1470031 wrote:Sounds like from what I've read that if Vaughn got a UK offer, he'd be in. UK hasn't offered yet, despite him having an official visit scheduled. Appears they don't want to spook Mudiay from committing...
Why would a commitment from Vaughn spook Mudiay?

It might not directly, I just can't figure any other reason there isn't an offer yet. Maybe Cal is wary of signing too many guards? I think it's stupid because I'm pretty sure the Harrison twins are one and done, and James Young certainly could be. They would only have 2 guards (Hawkins, Young), possibly 1 if Young leaves. The only guards I've seen them after are Mudiay, Tyus Jones, Vaughn and Josh Perkins. They aren't getting Tyus Jones either, IMO, which is why Cal has basically been balls out for Mudiay...
