It could be virtually anyone. Anything and everything is speculation at this point.

So, so scary.
She and a friend of mine that ran at Tiffin were the first two people I thought of when I heard about this. Good thing is I've seen that both are ok.

Hopefully there aren't too many more injuries/deaths that come out of this... just a sad sad day.

Mochican I actually bought that shirt today as well.

Glad I wasn't the only one that thought that. They should have postponed it.
Sort of makes you think there's more to this ya know?

WCVB, which is a local Boston channel, is saying an 8 year old is among the dead.

No.

It makes me think that they have no idea what is happening.

I know it's been posted early in the thread...but people suck.

I do not understand how any person can do anything like this. All of this tragedy is depressing.

I've seen this picture about 10 times on twitter. I know people are going to jump to conclusions on it, but it doesn't prove anything. People are on rooftops ALL the time in big cities.

The bombs were much further apart than I realized....probably 1-2 blocks.

And I wonder...would they have some cops on roofs as part of security? Seems pretty standard (and wouldn't say anything more than that). London put military and some major firepower on rooftops for the Olympics.

Yeah, I mean it obviously looks very, very suspicious; but people are going to instantly jump to the conclusion that that figure is the bomber.

I don't even think it looks suspicious, but merely the picture is suggestive. Not sure why anyone would think that's a good place for a terrorist to be hanging out. I mean, what, he's got like Boost Mobile and had to go to the roof to find a signal?

Seeing the videos of people literally running to help the injured lets me know that there are still some good people in the world.

Seriously...why not draw a big red arrow pointing to the woman with the cell phone in her hand and direct line-of-sight to the explosion?

Most likely used a cell phone to detonate.
