Actually, for the NCAA deadline (why it doesn't matter0, you can just never declare (never jeopardize your eligibility) and then declare on the 28th for the NBA.

There isn't one, haha.

In fact, it makes zero sense.

What if between April 16th and April 28th, something weird happens and you change your mind.

You're basically stuck in no-man's land...

Not to mention, you can declare, see what info you can get, and come back if its negative.

Then on April 24th, someone says they want you in the lottery, so you can just change your mind again and bolt lol

Shocked Marcus Smart came back...Travis Ford is probably shitting his pants right about now; with all the pressure on him to break Self's 9 consecutive Big 12 reg. season streak; while T Boone is simultaneously wondering what dorm room Smart lives in so he can get his check out in the mail.

I hate to say this..but how dumb is this decision for Smart? For all of us college bball fans, this is fantastic. But holy shit..you're going to be a top 5 pick, and you go back to college? Take the money!!

I saw last night that Smart is very different than most. Saying that he really enjoys college and that kind of shit.

That said, still very very shocking.

I remember reading something about how his family has some serious financial issues too. Could just be forum banter, but still. Shocking...

And we haven't even factored in how loaded next years draft is going to be. This move could not make less sense.

You hate to bring it up, but you wonder whats going on behind the scenes there in Stillwater.

Financially, it might end up costing him some money. But I am never one to say whether a decision is right or wrong.

It is never wrong to leave and make money just as it is never wrong to come back if you enjoy the college lifestyle.

I know I was never even close to having to decide to leave college, but damn, it wouldve been hard. I fucking loved every second of college!

Smart, McAdoo, and Hairston all probably lost some money by coming back, but you can't fault a kid for wanting to stay in school.

TH2 to enter the draft.

McGary and Robinson III are next in line to make a decision.

Arizona freshman forward Grant Jerrett going pro. Kid averaged 5.2 points in 17.8 minutes. He might as well start negotiating with priceline now for his tickets to China. While next year is obviously a big draft -- we all know that by now -- this is a decision driven by fear. After watching incoming Wildcat Aaron Gordon in the McDonald's game, Jerrett saw the writing on the wall. He also has Brandon Ashley to compete with.

Is this official, or your opinion? IMO, GRIII should stay and McGary should go--I think his stock will never be as high as it is right now, especially with Burke gone.

Sources say they are coming back. Saw a tweet. Can't remember who from now

I think they both need to go. GRIII is a projected lottery pick, and I can't see McGary's stock getting higher than it is now.

If that's the case, then I have to agree...and I've already stated my opinion regarding McGary's status

Any chance that McGary will be a three-year player in Ann Arbor? That's the only way this move makes any sense at all, because next year, with all the big men that will be declaring, he'll fall off the charts and go nowhere near where he is projected to go this year, unless he has an amazing season.

Dont see this as a smart move financially for McGary. But if he likes college, more power to him.

GR3 I think can actually up his status. He has a pure NBA body and game. So if he puts it together all year, he can possibly move up in the draft.

He's a 3 though. I agree, he can show a lot more, but it might be the single best draft class ever at one position.

IMO, Robinson is in the same boat as Alex Poythress and LeBryan Nash. All could've gone mid-late RD1. All might improve their game, but there's gotta be something more to returning because I'd be shocked if any have a chance to crack the top 10.

With Cauley-Stein and Smart returning, it could at least be justified because neither plays a position where it's a stacked class. In fact, after 2 or 3 C's and PG's, it's actually a pretty thin class at those positions.

I completely agree with this. Terrible move by McGary, and GRIII will probably end up right around the same draft position next year, and possibly could move up a few spots. Also, GRIII probably doesn't really need the money right now.
