Have any Tuesday open mats been having good numbers? thinking of bringing a group out, but its quite a trip anywhere for me.

Do you know the Hilliard Bradley coaches? I spoke to one last week and they are having Tuesday night open mats, not sure of numbers, although the coach seemed to indicate they were decent.

This Sunday Whitehall will not be holding open mats due to Mother's day. Go out and do something special for her. See you all next week!

Tuesday Nights @ 6:30, Worthington Kilbourne High School. In the back. If you're looking for an opportunity to wrestle some higher up guys and get in the mix, high schoolers I URGE you to come out. Great opportunity to put in the off season work. In the past this open mat has seen many state champs, placers, qualifiers, District qualifiers and future hopefulls. Get ahead of the game and come out to put in an hour and a half of work. Free for all

We had a small turn out tonight at Whitehall. Hope more people show up next week. I know lots of people were busy competing this week. So heres hoping to see some new and some old faces next week at Whitehall. All ages are welcomed!

Sorry everyone, but for the next two weeks Whitehall will have to be shutting down their open mats. We are trying everything in our power to find a new place. But rest assured We Will Be Back Sooner Than Later! Again no open mats for two weeks. Ill keep you posted for the results we come up with.

With all of the open mats shutting down for one reason or another, who all has open mats or will be starting them up soon? I know Kilbourne has them Tuesdays, but anyone else?

Central Crossing will continue to have open mats on Thursday 6pm all through the summer.

"Central District Coaches-
Due to many schools starting exams this week, Central District Open Mats at Upper Arlington on Wednesday, May 29th are cancelled.
As you are aware, this was to be the last scheduled Central District Open Mats of the Spring.

Yes Central Crossing will be having open mats on Thursdays from 6p-730p all summer long. We have been averaging 10-15 kids, we obviously would like to have more kids join us. We have an excellent light weight group 106-120. Josh Wimer is in the room every Thursday, so anyone from 126-145 will have some good go's. Also, Vince Pickett is on break from Edinboro and will be in the room every Thursday as well, so any upper weights looking to be pushed and have some good matches, will have opportunities.

Delware/Big Walnut: Tuesdays 6-8 (June at Delaware Hayes, July at Big Walnut HS)
Kenton Ridge: Tues/Thursdays 7-8:30

Kilbourne had 20+ last Tuesday, State Champs, State Qualifiers, District Qualifiers, Varsity hopefuls etc. We grew from the week prior and we will grow bigger this coming week! Thanks all for coming out, and here's to the new faces we hope to see next week. Thanks
