UA was a very good room last night. Lots of talent, everyone going hard, solid mix of kids, good weight ranges and a well run room.

Ohio Capitals Club will not be hosting their open mats on Monday evenings anymore for a while.
Do not come tonight.
We planned to stay open up until the TOC and gage the interest after that.
There just havent been enough non hilliard kids coming the past couple of weeks to justify keeping it open that late. We will be doing freestyle right after school now.
Thanks to all those that have continued to support us the past 2 yrs!!!!
See you next fall (or possibly sooner if there is any interest)!

It was a really good room this week at Whitehall. A few less kids with TOC that weekend, but still 20-plus and everyone working hard. I should be able to lace'm up tonight. My goal is to paint the wall mats as soon as possible. If I can finish those in time, I'm in.
Last night at the Orange Crush Freestyle Club, Tommy Rowlands showed a few freestyle techniques, but also showed one that could be used in both freestyle and folkstyle. I'm excited to try it out!!!

Whitehall's are free as well. So are Upper Arlington's. Central Crossing's Thursday night sessions are free as well.
But if you'd like to hand over some money, I'm SURE I can put it to good use!!!

I doubt he makes it out. However, you never can tell. He's not opposed to lacing them up and wrestling around for hours on end. His biggest issue is catching a ride. Heck, who knows!? He might very well jog there!!! (I wouldn't put it past him.)

Wow, pretty good room at UA last night. I don't really know that many kids around central Ohio, but there was at least 1 state champ, a TOC champ, multiple state qualifiers. Probably about 40-50 kids total.

So everyone let me know if I have this open mat schedule correct. Also will they have open in June at these schools ??

Tue- Groveport 5:00
Wed- UA 6:30-8:00
Thur- CC 6:00-7:30
Fri-
Sat-
Sun- Whitehall 6:00 (is it @ the elem school like it was back in the fall ?)

Add Kilbourne 6:30-8:00 on Tuesday.
T.E.S.T.F.A.S. says open mats starting next week at New Albany $5/session Monday and Wednesday, 6-8
