Fucking love FGCU as well. I'm pretty much pulling for them to make the finals. Just a great team to watch.

I hope Florida pounds the hell of out Gulf Coast. It may already be too late for every child in America to wearing FGCU shirts around pretending to be fans. If they keep winning, it's essentially the story of Duke basketball.

How can you not help it to root for them. Their fun as hell to watch and they play with that swagger.

Florida Gulf Coast is the greatest Cinderella in terms of seeding in NCAA tournament history.

Andy Infield is going to be a hot commodity in the next few weeks.

I think Florida Gulf Coast can run with anyone in that region. They've now beaten Miami in Coral Gables, crushed Georgetown and humiliated San Diego State with an aerial display on the way to the Sweet 16. Up next, the in-state rival Gators. Could be interesting. It will certainly be exciting.

Not only will they have the motivation of bring in the sweet 16 they go against the big dog in the state. It just adds to it

Agree completely. This might be the greatest story in NCAA history if they win one more game and play for a chance at the Final Four. I don't even know what their team mascot/nickname is. I'm sure I've heard it, but I have forgotten it since then. This is awesome.

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but... Florida has played a 15 seed in the past two tournaments without being a 2 seed.

I think they're right up there with 2006 George Mason, who was an 11 seed granted, but they beat few powerhouses along the way. They beat defending champion MSU, UNC, and eventually the season favorite UConn.

Edit: MSU didn't win title year before, they were just in FF.

I fully expect Florida to stomp FGCU, but Enfield should get some big time looks. He started as a player development coach in the NBA in the 90s, so he's got some cred.

I dk I could see flgc style giving Florida some problems. Flgc key will be rebounding.
