Fuck the NCAA selection committee!! They do that garbage on purpose.

Roy vs. his old team. And I'm sorry, but an 8 seed? I thought for sure Carolina was a 6 or 7.

Shaka Smart was an an assistant with (2003) and under (2004-06) Keith Dambrot at Akron, so some history there.
Dambrot was actually in Smart's wedidng.

They were matched up in a Bracketbuster a few years back.


Also, Smart hates playing them because of how close they are

Same thought here. Maybe this explains their late season swoon. Being an 11 seed here a ton easier path to the SS than being an 8/9.

Carolina's reward last year for their #1 seed was to play Kansas in St. Louis. The injury to Marshall screwed that up, but now they possibly get Kansas in Kansas City. That'll be awesome, I'm sure. lol

6 of those losses are to Indiana, Duke, and Miami, but I see your point. I still think an 8 is low.

2 is the best Miami was going to get. With some of the losses they had they are lucky to get it.
