Speculation at this point, but there is some buzz out there. Apparently the university's general counsel quit today as well.

Reading now that the rumor is a whole bunch of coaches (across multiple sports - potentially including Rick Barnes and school president Bill Powers) were having relations with students and the AD covered it up. A women's track coach was fired in January for a relationship but apparently it might be much more widespread.

I realize that that s against the "rules," but if both are over the consenting age, WHO GIVES A FUCK???

Same why I felt about the supposed Les Miles rumor.

Yea, college kids are adults, unless these coaches are teaching these kids in a class, it is what it is.

There are more types of improper relationships than just adult/minor. Any relationship between people with influence and people without it are a potential danger to an organization.

My thoughts too. But they might have an issue if it comes out and they forced out a female coach for this, but then covered up for the males who bring in the cash

I went to a small school in Western PA and the coaches were told not to hang out with students or go out to bars/restaurants in town. But professors were allowed to hang out with students at the bars.
