Pretty good actually, just names no edits or anything. I used them online when I played.

Does this game have a better sim engine than 13? IMO 13 was the worst, for instance I restarted a dynasty and Alabama, OSU and UM all finished unranked while Oklahoma squared off against Auburn in the National Title. Both teams had 2 losses as well. Nothing compared to 12 where top teams actually made sense

I won't start a dynasty until the names are out because one of my favorite things to do is upload the draft classes into Madden (which idk why the hell they took that out of Madden 13, it'll be back for this year I heard).

I've been playing though. There's a decent PS3 roster here

Just beat someone who was Texas A&M. He had 97 yards of offense. Only 2-0 though

I find defense nearly impossible. Have played 9 games online. I have not held one opponent under 21 points.

Agree. The read option is basically impossible to stop.

Are short passes still unstoppable? I would have hilariously efficient games in '13 by just running "quick slants" every other play.

you must not play that great of competition.That play isnt hard to stop. Honestly, I think every play is stoppable. I think everyone in the dynasty will pretty much agree. The key is predicting what they are going to run.

The offense in the new one is ridiculous. With Manziel you should absolutely dominate opponents, especially considering the juking ability now. You're almost untacklable

I think the read offense is pretty simple to stop...you just have to be willing to bring your safety down in the box.

I've tinkered with the speed threshold and game speed but I still have this same problem. When DeAnthony Thomas from Oregon gets into open space in straight line nobody should be able to catch him, but they constantly do.

Just played my first game. Beat some scrub playing with A&M 42-11. The game has a little bit of a different feel, I think. Especially breaking on the ball as a defender when its in the air. Seems everybody is going to attempt the Manziel gimmick this season just like they did with Tebow a few years ago.
