Basically, we run it with 20 teams.

Everyone who pays is eligible to get paid. Everyone who doesn't, still is in the final standings, but payouts only go to those who paid.

At least this is how I'd figure we do it, rather than making 2 seperate drafts.

That was my understanding as well. Would be tough to get 20 for each so makes sense to just do one big one and pay out for everyone who pays.

So far we have 14 signed up

12 pay, 2 no pay

The 12 pay is assuming Fathobbit can work it w/ his schedule.

Also, I'm going to say, since the max is 20, if we have 8 more sign up for pay, the no-payers will not be able to play.

Lol, I wasn't trying to say my schedule might keep me out of it. I just wanted to know when we were starting so I could schedule around it. :D

Its okay if we don't hit 20. Id rather have 15 dedicated then 20 with 5 ppl that didn't really want to play.

We have 15 right now. Anyone else opposed to just starting it tonight? We might be better off with 15 and not 20 anyway...But waiting for 20 at this point seems illogical. Seems some posters from last year havent been all season, so why wait?

I'd be all for starting whenever, but with the caveat that nobody be skipped over. I mean, all of the sudden we have a Kendall Marshall situation in a conference tournament and there goes everything.

I'd actually prefer to just get it done from Sunday night to Thursday, but I do understand that doing so, requires some dilligent board reading.

I'm cool with whatever. We need to provide a Paypal account, get a final list of the participants (both paying and non-paying) and then come up with a random draft order.

I'm flying out to Vegas tomorrow morning so won't have my laptop set up until Tuesday evening or so.

Ok, I say lets get this going. S&L, you wanna get the order set up and we can start our picks. Whoever has signed up is good to go, anyone else gets added at the end of RD1, if they join before we finish it.
