Ridgewood 58, Newcomerstown 34

NEWCOMERSTOWN — Thomas Ellis tallied 17 points and Tanner Stoffer added 11 to lead the Generals to an IVC victory over the host Generals.

Newcomerstown led 24-22 at halftime, but the Generals outscored the hosts 16-4 in the third quarter and 20-6 in the fourth.

Ridgewood now is 2-1 in the league and 3-1 overall.

Newcomerstown (2-3, 3-3) got 13 points from Caleb Rankin.

Ridgewood's next three opponents are Strasburg, Garaway, and Hiland. We will have a better feel for where they stand after these games are played.
