It's been awhile since one of these threads.
Here, we post our current employment status and what we do.
I work in IT for a civil engineering firm. I've worked there for about a year and a half.
I do not like it.

Lead developer at a design agency. Been here 3 years. Love the people I work with, just not sure this is what I want to do long term.

I'll agree they can be annoying at times but I wouldn't call them the worst. I am perfectly fine the the majority that email me or contact me through linked in. I HATED the few that called me at work through our work number.

I deal with a fair amount of "specialized" software companies that write software for very specific things we utilize and they seem to be pretty healthy. I'm in the process of potentially closing both companies .... walking away

Work in a compounding pharmacy as a sterilized compounding tech. Hopefully I'll be finished with school soon, but the job is great. Decent pay and the benefits are amazing.

Sr. Demand Planner at a consumer products company. Been here about 2 1/2 years. Would like to switch eventually to more of a process improvement/ops project management type role.
