It's been awhile since one of these threads.

Here, we post our current employment status and what we do.

I work in IT for a civil engineering firm. I've worked there for about a year and a half.

I do not like it.

Picture a car dealer that calls you constantly and tries to sell you a shitty car with high mileage that you don't want.

My brother in law just started recently as an IT recruiter.

I'll agree they can be annoying at times but I wouldn't call them the worst. I am perfectly fine the the majority that email me or contact me through linked in. I HATED the few that called me at work through our work number.

I had one call me last week, and I didnt answer so he left a voicemail. Then he emailed me and called me again.

In a span of 2 hours.

It has been for the most part, although when the economy tanks, hospitality is one of the first victims, and those who support it get hit pretty good.

I deal with a fair amount of "specialized" software companies that write software for very specific things we utilize and they seem to be pretty healthy. I'd fathom the hospitality business would be the same.

Work in a compounding pharmacy as a sterilized compounding tech. Hopefully I'll be finished with school soon, but the job is great. Decent pay and the benefits are amazing.

Lol, I don't answer calls I don't recognize so they all go to voicemail for me. I'm hoping when I'm ready to make a move they will be usefull.
