I was taking it as just concentrating on MMA and not pursuing the Olympics, which maybe be their only option, hopefully not though.like_that;1388708 wrote:They already do that as well lol.

I know. I am just saying there are plenty of pretty damn tough college wrestlers who go straight to the MMA. College wrestling backgrounds are all over MMA. I don't pay as close attention to UFC as I used to, but I'd say Chad Mendes has got be the most well known in that regard.
I caught a PPV a few months ago of young kid, 21 or so absolutely destroying some older vet.....beat his face bad. Middleweight maybe? Anyway I think he had a very good wrestling background they mentioned. I could be way off though. Anyone have the slightest clue of his name? Sorry for the lack of details.
