2. When was the last time you have seen a wrestler and think "man, that guy should be playing basketball?" I have never seen a wrestler get cut, or quit wrestling to play basketball. In fact I am pretty sure most guys who aren't skilled enough to play bball end up wrestling...

3. As FFL asked, how does wrestling currently ruin the quality of HS basketball? You mean if there wasn't HS wrestling, Lebron would have been a lot better? If there wasn't HS wrestling, would ESPN broadcast more HS basketball games, since some basketball games are over shadowed by wrestling events on ESPN (/sarcasm)? Man, poor HS basketball players... I feel so bad for the guys who are capable of going straight to the NBA from HS, but are held back because of HS wrestling...

AC Slater was an all-city wrestler but might be THE worst basketball player I've ever seen try.

Wrestling isn't my thing but I see zero reason to eliminate it. At least I know it's a sport. Though curling is awesome...love seeing guys frantically sweeping ice and then crying.
