Strassini is the 6'6" 255 lb combo QB, LB, RB that broke every single season passing, rushing and tackling record in Wyoming as a Soph and then broke his own records again as a Jr. His dad Gio Stassini was an All-American DE at OSU in the late 70s.

He's been trying to make it suspenseful. But everyone knows he's going to scUM. Good pickup. He's an awesome player.

I'm never sure in recruiting. You never know.

Peppers is a lock, Webbie, you don't have to worry about any jinx.

About 20 minutes or so until Jabrill announces.

As expected, Jabrill Peppers has committed to Michigan.

Knew he was going to Michigan on April 15th when he told Michael Ferns and Speight "Now we gotta get Da'Shawn Hand".

Excellent pickup, but smh at this

This is how the Wolverines picked up their highest-rated recruit since 2006: with a rap written on a phone held up by a close family friend inside a small New York City studio.

"He's poetic," his mom, Ivory Bryant, said as they figured out how to get the helmet worked into the announcement.

The rapping was gay. But hes a good kid. I hope he does well for all but one game.

What I liked was that he looked like it was the happiest moment of his life. He was smiling from ear to ear the whole time. Too often kids make these announcements and they just seem so entitled or cocky about everything. You could tell this kid is living the dream.

That's Adoree Jackson. 5*, #9 player nationally, #2 CB behind Jabrill.

Jackson is a great athlete, just not my kind of player...too much taunting and trash talking on his film...surprised ohio isn't at the top of his list with that mentality. Give me a hard nosed no nonsense player over a flashy "look at me" type any day.

True. But good coaching can eliminate that, and the kid is a sick athlete. It's sad that I'm getting picky, but I'd almost rather have Parker Westphal over Jackson. PW is more versatile and can move to safety, Jackson's size doesn't allow us that luxury.

Trash talking for a CB is a non issue for me, id rather have a trash talking confident CB to put out on an island than a quiet reserved one. Plus as it was stated earlier, the kid is a ridiculous athlete with great ball skills, even though he is a little on the small side. Hopefully with a college weightlifting program he can bulk up to about 190ish and thatd be more than alright.

QB Wilton Speight at Steve Clarkson's QB Retreat.
Day One at Steve Clarkson's Quarterback Retreat in San Diego featured some of the most talented quarterbacks in the country. D1 bound quarterbacks in attendance included Michigan commit Wilton Speight.

Michigan commit Drake Harris was in attendance to work out with future college teammate Wilton Speight. The dynamic pass and catch combo should serve the Wolverines well in the future.

I'm sure Solich would welcome a player of his caliber ;)

No way. Too good of a CB to move to S. I mean he def could, I just don't see it happening.

Sounds like Chase Winovich might commit to Michigan tomorrow. Canceled his OSU visit this weekend.

I knew he canceled visit but thought it was more he was comitting to Pitt after last weekends visit. You're hearing different. I still wanted him at osu even though they are really stockpiling lb's right now.
