As if it can't get any worse for Cowboys fans, the Lakers are down 20 in the first quarter

Saints score to make it 35-10 and camera showed Romo putting on his helmet but facing a lineman and the lineman burst into laughter.

Would love to know what he said.

Romo seems like he'd be a funny guy.

It's a primetime game on national TV. It's the RomoCowboys. The only surprise is that it was a blowout loss instead of one caused by a hilarious fuck-up in the final two minutes.

I am doing this without any research so I could be very far off base, but is it just me or have the numbers for RBs been down this year? The last 5 years the draft has been front loaded with front 7 players, and I think it is transitioning to teams having a tougher time run the ball.

Rushing totals definitely seem to be down.

I'd also say it has to do with a more "running back by committee" approach.

Just looked at some quick numbers and rushing is definitely down compared to last year. The Eagles are leading in Rush YPG and they would have been 5th last year. They are down 10 YPG compared to last years leader the Redskins. To be exactly in the middle of the league in rushing last year would have been 113.5 YPG and this year is 108.6 YPG. There are also 7 teams that are below 82 Rush YPG compared to just 2 teams last year.

Yeah....passing numbers are huge and the extremely short passes have replace the 3 yards and a cloud of dust.

Looking at 1,000 yard rushers or 1200 yard guys per year might be telling.

I dont care enough to look it up, but if I were a betting man (I am, and not a good one), I'd say that there are more pass attempts/less rush attempts that is affecting that number as well.

But then it brings up the question, is that happening because the league is becoming more pass-happy or is the league becoming more pass happy because it is harder to run the ball?

Dolphins look like the worst team in the league.

Good to see Jeff Triplette, the most inept referee in NFL history. He not only is the worst ever but he cost the NFL $20,000,000 for blinding Orlando Brown.....gotta love unions
