Reed took fifth at the KIT (Kenston Invitational) in December:
http://www.kenston.k12.oh.us/khs/athletics/wrestling/kit-2012/brackets.pdf

I think I've seen him down all January in duals and at Licking Heights, so to answer the question...yes he is at 195

182 should have Maynard Teays Valley in the mix Bump. He lost to McCown @the cruiser last weekend 10-2. The score looks bad but it was actually a closer match than most would believe from seeing the score. I think he beats Riggs.

Maybe just 2 with "seedable" qualifications?

Thanks! What's up at 145, no Driscoll?

And no Scott at 32. That's too bad for Watkins.

It's good to see some Union Local kids seeded. I don't know much about them. Hopefully, they can mix things up a bit.

That's what I think. Looking down through the teams, I don't think any one of them is fielding a particularly strong performing heavy this year.

Vanmeter from valley has beaten 3 kids ranked by borofan including the Northridge heavy who was ranked 4th in D3. Gonna be a monster when he is a senior

Only two heavyweights are above .500... actuallu I believe Reynoldsberg's extra is 5-4n but unseedable because he is a reserve...

How is George, redman, and Turner all seeded above Kinser? Redman was at the cruiser last week and lost I do believe and Kinser won the whole thing? Kinser is a district placer from last year and George is ahead of him? And the reynoldsburg kid I doubt has win over ranked opponents. Lacey is the only one who should actually be seeded above Kinser.

2CK, do you have records handy? I know George faced Lacey at Marion-Elgin and lost but I think it was his only loss and he put up a respectable fight. I don't know the score.

edit: i mean i think it was his only lost at marion, not on the year.

Kinser lost to Lacey by one point I believe. His loses come to legitimate good opponents as well. The gahanna kid beat him who in my opinion is going to give a lot of guys fits at sectional and districts.

Can't rule out Jacob Pugh from Hilliard Bradley - just a freshman with a record around 12-12, but he wrestled tough at Groveport - took 4th losing the consolation final to Whitehall's Noah Young by a 2-0 SV decision.

Sounds like Kinzer should be higher. Maybe they just based it on records and didn't give consideration to quality of opponent? Could be straightened out by tomorrow morning -- then again, if Kinzer's not in Lacey's pool, no harm no foul, and i'm sure it will work itself out on the mat lol

So no cruiser tournament, no state dual semi and now no watkins. Dont' need to know any details, but does anyone know if he will be back this year?

Most weightclasses have little notes on district or state placement/major tournament placement, however 220 has none. it lists the records as follows...

Max Lacey 36-1 97%
Damien George 32-7 82%
Bo Redman 25-8 76%
Raphael Turner 19-8 70%
CJ Kinzer 21-9 70%

Goerge lost to Lacey 7-2 i believe? may have been a little different but that's close.

Vanmeter vs. Eubanks was a Semi-final match at the Reynoldsburg JV tournament in December and Eubanks won that match. If I recall correctly, Eubanks went on to lose the Reynoldsburg's current 220 in the final.

Strange world we live in when to JV tourney semi-finalists are the FAVORITES to win a big "varsity" tournament. SMH.

Lacey topped Kinzer in the championship match at Pickerington.....11-5

But that was a LONG time ago! I do hope Kinzer ends up in the opposite pool. Kinzer and George should be meeting to decide who will face Lacey. Just my view if form holds......

Totally agree. Hopefully the pool organizers are listening.
