Not even a wrestlers table?

Those are the kind of tourneys most schools will tend to not come back for.

Yes I usually don't bring the family because I feel a $40 bill for a day is steep. My opinion is, since OHSAA likes to regulate, then they should regulate the prices for member schools like they do football and enforce a fee structure. $6.00 per person, $4.00 per student, kids 5 & under free.

That is just my $0.02

Especially those 8-10 team tourneys - 2 byes and 2 matches for $10 C'MON!
Amen! $5 for Duals/Tris, $6/day for a tournament, then they can up it a bit for sectionals and districts - just like football.

We need to get people in the gym - not turn them away!

........Cruiser - thought you'd like that! True Story! :D

Hamilton's Tourney was $8 Five years ago. I guess by that...We're getting a deal!
See ya all tomorrow. I'll be outside with my guitar and case collecting change and taking requests. :)

All good kids may be a long day for him he already lost to Williams 7-0 at Tri-Valley but wrestlers with that much skill can only make you better

Exactly - all the records and rankings go away once sectionals start.

Very well done tournament, hats off to the Hamilton Township staff, we were out of there by 3PM, ran right thru with a short break before the finals. 1st and 2nd was Licking Valley vs. Northridge, 3rd and 4th was Hamilton varsity vs. Springfield 5th and 6th was South vs. Mifflin 7th - 10th I am not sure.

We left as soon as we got done so I don't know the results from the other matches, Northridge and Licking Valley looked sweet up to the finals. We lost to Mifflin 32-30 missing 5 varsity wrestlers. Very proud of my kids.

Again great job Hamilton!

PS the coaches's room was awesome and hazardous to my weight loss.

You called this one Devil. LV beats Northridge 34-31.Talk about a nailbiter. Tied up 31-31 at last match-195. That match is tied 1-1 with about 10secs left in the 3rd and LV's Abe Smith turns Northridge's Zach Rudy for 3 back points and the win. I will take back my original "yikes". It was worth the $8!

I knew Northridge would be tough. I figured it would come down to a match or two. Did mills and ray wrestle

8 bucks is still a little steep. State tournament session is 12! Only 4 bucks away.

Agreed. But when my son goes 5-0 and our backup 195 lb'r wins the tourney for us in the last 10 seconds the $8 is a little easier to swallow. Tourney run well. Refs were pretty good.

Thanks. He just cut to 60 this week. Proud of his win over Mickey in the final dual. Our underclassmen really stepped up today as did our back up 195 lbr and the rest of the team. Beating Northridge is no small task. Especially with our 126 lbr out sick.
