Belichick had the Browns franchise going, until Art Modell decided to move the team. Nice fail though. You have a lot of work to do if you want to be the top Browns troll on this site.

I comment every once in a great while. Kind of like I am now. I won't stay. I just find it amusing when Browns fans think changing QBs or coaches is the answer.like_that;1355197 wrote:Webfire never posts in Browns threads, but now in 2013 he graces us with these gems .

Definitely not ideal to keep firing coaches, but lets be honest. Shurmur is a dope

Yes, because Pat Shurmur is clearly a good head coach.

Sorry, didn't mean to imply he was. But I'm sure this thread will be back 3-4 years and 2 QBs later.GoChiefs;1355263 wrote:Yes, because Pat Shurmur is clearly a good head coach.

i doubt too many browns fans wanted this change but everyone pretty much knew it was inevitable. a new ownership group is going to want their own "guys" and that means changes all over the place. shurmur and heckert have already been fired and if the players don't fit with the new regime's philosophy, they'll be jettisoned as well (weeden included). nothing new about this processWebFire;1355251 wrote:I comment every once in a great while. There is no reason to NOT think things will change.

For sure. What new owner isn't going to want his guys in place?

That's going to be the only way. But it's happened before with no luck. Cleveland just seems to have a football curse on it. Like Detroit does.LJ;1355338 wrote:Except literally EVERYTHING is changing. Ownership, front office, coaches....

That's your explanation? The city is cursed so their football team just will never be good.WebFire;1355358 wrote:That's going to be the only way. But it's happened before with no luck. Cleveland just seems to have a football curse on it. Like Detroit does.

You suck at comprehension. I said it seems that way. Because it does. When was the last time the Browns made a run at the Super Bowl?SportsAndLady;1355361 wrote:That's your explanation? The city is cursed so their football team just will never be good.

2 more times than the Bengals have since 1985.

When was the last time they changed ownership? Al Lerner died, and his son took over. Haslam just recently bought the team. That's pretty much one ownership change. Also the scumbag art modell was an owner from 61-95WebFire;1355368 wrote:Last time they did, same results.
