They are kicking the tires on all of these guys they've interviewed. Haven't pulled the trigger (likely) due to the fact that they covet an assistant that is currently in the playoffs and can't be interviewed. Tom Gamble (49ers) hasn't been hired. I could see them bringing him in as a GM along with Greg Roman as the HC. Like I said "likely." I liked Whiz in pittsburgh as the OC. When they chose Tomilin over Grimm. Dont think Whiz was a candidate really. Grimm and Whiz went to Arizona where he led them to the SB.
Or was he just lucky he had Kurt Warner? By the looks of it since then, I think Whiz road the coattails of Warner to the SB.
Dont think it would be a good hire for the browns.

Switching to the 3-4 would set them back 2, maybe 3 years. That would be a huge mistake. So if Whisenhunt wants to run this defense, I want no part of him.

I don't think the 3-4 transition would be that difficult, as long as Sheard is able to make the switch to OLB.
