Chud did say Joe Haden will be considered as a punt returner.

Just say no.

Gordon on pace for 85 catches, 1,552 yards & 8 TDs over a 16 game season. A. Johnson only did that twice.

Good now lets trade him for a 4th!

This is easy to say now, but Weeden actually looked pretty good in preseason, and in a vertical offense, it's hard to say no to an arm like that. However, it was obviously too small of a sample size to make the right decision. Weeden is not an NFL quarterback. He's not even a good backup quarterback because he's a poor game manager. His decision-making and processing skills are so poor that he would stall any drive being put together should he enter a game. It's quickly apparent that the previous regime crapped the bed when Wright went ahead of Weeden, and tried to satisfy fans with yet another failed QB pick.

Yeah seriously. Surprising to me that BR now has seemed to completely flip what he said at the beginning of the season. Hindsight is 20/20 I guess. Everybody thought Weeden deserved a chance to see what he can do this season, or did some of us forget about that?

Cleveland sports talk sucks, but Hooly was on a rant about Gordon and his effort. It was comical because Hooly is about as clueless as anyone i have ever heard on sportstalk radio, yet they kept him and unloaded several others.

Yeah, we say that, but honestly...none of us have an idea what's going on everyday in berea. I would think that the coaches would have a better feel for things than us. It is night and day with skill level..i would think that would be noticeable under a microscope

His yards per reception is huge for an offense.

Agreed.

Grossi's tweet: Josh Cribbs after 49-9 loss to #Bengals: "We're not the Browns; we're not the team that gives up." // OMG!

Well, well, well.....guess I can now feel a little vindication. While all of the "sheep" were supporting this a-hole with the Facebook "Pay the Man" campaign, I was one of the lone detractors saying he was nothing but a "whiny punk bitch who took all of his beefs to the media instead of solving them behind closed doors." Now he stabs all of his former teammates in the back after the fact? Shocker! #screwtheman

He did deserve a chance, because of the unknown (as S&L said) but they couldn't be so stupid as to see that he clearly didn't have "it" while evaluating him. I was probably the biggest Weeden "honk" on here and was more than willing to give him his chance but he didn't have "it."

Even in my heated debates with S&L last year I said that Weeden got until THIS year and if he sucked, "next." Well, he showed that early on in the first two games. They should've evaluated Campbell a little more versus trotting Weeden back out there. They might have been able to pull out that Detroit game.

We read what we are given. Not sure how far that could be misquoted. Also does he not remember being a little bitch on twitter near the end of last season?

Of course he's going to go into damage control mode. Dude's a weasel. I also find it funny that he says his team doesn't "give up" yet they just got lit up by, as you call him, Faildy Dalton, to the tune of FIVE TD's.

Oh, and as an FYI, the Browns get back on track with a "W" at home against the Rats and go into the bye at 4-5.

I doubt it. Browns have had unlucky scheduling with the rats this season. First game was in Baltimore for their SB celebration. Now they are playing Baltimore after Baltimore comes off a bye. They will find a way to lose a game that they shouldn't have lost to Baltimore again. Baltimore will again look like a very overrated team beating the browns.

Anyway br, start up the game thread!

Baltimore just got beaten by PITTSBURGH. They do nothing on offense...NOTHING. I expect Horton's D to excel against overrated Flacco and Ray Rice hasn't done anything. If the Browns can put up two TD's and a FG, they win this.

According to PFF, Browns have 4 projected Pro Bowl starters, Haden isn't one of them. Also DeCastro is on there, glad we didn't draft him to make a PWN line and got a fucking BUM at the QB spot instead. SMH, fucking holmgren. Also smh at ppl telling me DeCastro would have been a bad pick and smh lolfail at those fapping to the weeden pick.

And Weeden. He's been a pro bowler for the opponent every game.

It was ward, Cameron, TJ, and Mack. They only posted their picks for starters.

PT should def be a pro bowler though. It's going to be unfortunate. The browns are going to be like the chiefs the last 2 seasons. All these pro bowlers but nothing to show for it as a team. Smh.
