That is Mack's position. I'm not stuck on taking a LBer though, just a thought I threw out there. I just think Mack is going to be a beast, he can do it all.like_that;1528808 wrote:You don't need a first round LBer, especially to play in a 3-4 defense as a thumper/middle linebacker. I'm only taking a LBer in the first round if its an outside lber who is going to add to our pass rush.

still have to look for a long-term option at qb, imo

Definitely need to use one of the first 2 picks on a QB.Pick6;1528820 wrote:still have to look for a long-term option at qb, imo

Question is, will the QB value be any better with the first pick, than it will with the 2nd pick? If the Redshirt Sophs like Hundley, Mariota, and Bortles come out, this QB draft is very deep with very similar players.

Teams have been reaching for QBs the last few drafts (our own team unfortunately SMFH), so i doubt we get a nice QB in the second round.

I meant the 2nd pick in the first, not the 2nd round.like_that;1528833 wrote:Teams have been reaching for QBs the last few drafts (our own team unfortunately SMFH), so i doubt we get a nice QB in the second round.

Oh yeah, then yes I can see that.se-alum;1528836 wrote:I meant the 2nd pick in the first, not the 2nd round.
Btw, another QB that looks better than Weeden... Case Keenum. LOL what a horrible first round for the Browns in the 2012 draft.

I like that fact that even though we definitely won't win every game, every time I walk into that stadium or the team takes the field...I feel like they have a chance. So many terrible years of football have beaten me down....but I still feel good about this team for some reason.

Not that I'm expecting it but if there's anyone of value left out there at the RB position, I'd like to see them bring them in for a look and dump McGahee. His 1.8 ypc just aren't doing it. I know the O-Line pretty much sucks at run blocking but not THAT bad. Could also give Oby the majority of the load and sprinkle in some Fozzie.

Agree with this. McGahee just doesn't have the ability to hit the hole hard or make the cuts anymore. He pretty much just takes the ball and runs straight to where the hole should be, instead of finding it and getting up field.BR1986FB;1530119 wrote:Not that I'm expecting it but if there's anyone of value left out there at the RB position, I'd like to see them bring them in for a look and dump McGahee. Remember that guard, John Moffitt, who the Browns brought in and then somehow he ended up in Denver (ala the Broderick Bunkley deal)? Well, he just walked out on the Donks saying he's "lost his desire for the game." Guess sometimes things just work out for the best.

Jason Campbell was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week. When was the last time THAT honor was won by a Browns QB?

How in the Hell does TJ Ward make this list?

You know I've never been the biggest Ward fan, but I think he's playing very well this season. Now I would still take Eric Berry/Earl Thomas over him but he's had a great season thus far.
