Anyone else read/hear this?
I'm pretty sure at least 5 people on here said that same thing when he was drafted. I agreed with that as well. It really did seem like they were so set on Wright and when he was taken they just were in a mass panic and took Weeden.

Hundley will not fall out of the top 3 if he comes out. Book It.

copy and pasted from the cavs thread since i am a retard....I heard an interesting question the other night on KNR. Would Indy have been better off trading that number 1 overall pick to the Browns for their entire draft (since that was rumored to be on the table)? Would 3-5 more years of Peyton and all those picks been worth giving up on the next "big thing"? I thought it was interesting just because with Peyton, they may have been the odds on favorite to win it this year. Also, the Browns would obviously been screwed since that meant no Trent or no Brandon...lol

I asked this same question a few weeks ago and I think Indy would have def been better off. An entire draft, or browns next 3 1st round picks plus manning = at least one SB IMO.

yeah, that is my thinking...Luck is very good, but Manning really would have put them in position to win another SB

On top of that, if that site thinks that our new regime will take a RB in the 1st round with the pick that we traded a RB to get, then they are retarded.

I definitely see a QB in the 1st round, but if we still have the 2nd pick (could see trading both to get up to the QB they want) it would/should be a guard or 2nd corner.

Yeah, banner has made it pretty clear he doesn't value RBs as a first round position.

Remember all that "Hey we're in first place!" talk? That was only two weeks ago but it seems like years doesn't it?

@AdamSchefter: At least 3 teams have contacted Browns about deal for WR Josh Gordon; two have standing offers of a high pick and a player. Browns balking.

Could be. I think they have inquired about Hakeem Nicks, but its just rumors at this point.

I'd trade Gordon all day for a first rounder. He is lazy, doesn't block on run plays, and barely tried in GB. Not sure he's worth all of the risks. I'm sure a lot here disagree but a first gets it done for me.

to his credit, he has been under a lot of pressure, but when he has had the chance to make a throw, his accuracy has been horrible.
