Just goes along with what I have been saying. A team like the Browns need a good start to season. If a young team starts to gain confidence and believes it can win, then good things will happen. If the Browns win this week, watch out.BR1986FB;1515833 wrote:McGahee: "Sky's the limit" for the Browns....

Megaton was in individual drills, but he was limited, not full go. Still hoping he's out.

Disgusting. I'd be embarrassed if I was a fan.BR1986FB;1515953 wrote:Sorry to get "political" but another valid reason to hate the Steelers.....

Anyone watch Bridgewater last night? Wasn't overly impressed with his performance in the spotlight...

Bridgewater lost the Heisman last night. Now Manzier HAS to be injured.

This is where the (Browns) scouts need to weed through the shit to determine who has "it" and who doesn't. For the most part, most of these guys look like studs because they have all day to throw and their WR's are running free, wide open. It's determining who can put the ball in tight windows and handle pass pressure where the scouts make their money.Dr. KnOiTaLL;1516253 wrote:Anyone watch Bridgewater last night? Yeah, one pass in the fourth quarter sticks out to me. He had to reset his feet and had a receiver WIDE OPEN in the front right corner of the end zone and threw it way over his head out of bounds. Didn't show a whole lot of touch on the pass. Maybe that's why the Browns don't mind winning a little right now. Maybe they agree that there's no sure fire QB at the top of the draft.BR1986FB;1516262 wrote:This is where the (Browns) scouts need to weed through the shit to determine who has "it" and who doesn't. Well...that's the thing that sucks. I was listening to a draft analyst who had 10+ QB's with "1st round grades" in this draft. If there are 5 that are similar, and you go "all in" to trade up to get one, you'd better hope you don't get the one that busts because one, or more, are very likely to.Dr. KnOiTaLL;1516268 wrote:Yeah, one pass in the fourth quarter sticks out to me. Maybe we won't draft up? Maybe we use all of these draft picks to supplement what we already have. Wouldn't it be nice to grab one of those quarterbacks AND a top lineman or wide receiver in the first round? Not to mention multiple picks in the proceeding rounds. I'd be completely happy with that approach honestly. I think we have a great core of solid young players with some very solid veteran leadership. I'm liking what I see from this front office thus far. I'd hate to see them fall into the trap that every other regime has (trade up and lose draft picks only to see your selection bust).BR1986FB;1516270 wrote:Well...that's the thing that sucks. ^^^ I think that's wishful thinking. Even if Hoyer played well, I still think they are drafting a QB very high in this draft.

I'd be OK if the Browns drafted Manziel. He's made Alabama look foolish twice (I put a lot of stock into that). That athleticism combined with some of the throws he makes? Sign me up.

A name I would keep an eye on is eastern Illinois qb jimmy garropollo. Could make his way into the first rd/second round

Manzier with the Browns would be a better circus than Tebow with the Jets. Please Lord it happen.

Thank you for your wonderfully instructive and in no way related to football throwing ability input. Would read again.Tiernan;1516412 wrote:Manzier with the Browns would be a better circus than Tebow with the Jets. Please Lord it happen.

Is he's getting the stats he is getting now by being lazy, I can't imagine what he will do if/when he actually matures.Pick6;1518525 wrote:Dustin Fox ‏@DustinFox37 1m Watching #browns all22.. We over hype Josh Gordon way too much. Lazy routes..Drops.. and still doesn't block anybody on run plays.

Was reading this on another forum "I also read many times that we ended up with Weeden because we were so set on Wright we had no backup pick in that range. Tenn wasn't expected to take him and it caused mass chaos and a huge reach."
Anyone else read/hear this?

I find it hard to believe they had no back up pick. Always heard they took him because they thought Belichick was going to take him (lol).
See people are making fun of the Browns because they signed that WR from the Packers practice squad and he has a torn ACL. Who cares. Like it would make a difference this season anyways.
