"I think Joe and Mike will work through the quarterback situation," Haslam said. "And I think we're all excited about Brandon's second year. He had a good first year, and I think he'll have a better second year.
"I think Norv and Chud (offensive coordinator Norv Turner and head coach Rob Chudzinski) will be a huge help to him."

Hm, kind of interesting that they have Jordan dropping that far. Also, interesting that Milliner, Jordan, and Warmack are projected to go right in a row as I'm sure the Browns will look heavily at all three of them.Commander of Awesome;1424370 wrote:http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/shutdown-corner-mock-draft-version-2-0-181944856--nfl.html

All I looked at was the Browns picks, and they have Trufant listed as Washington State and Jarvis Jones listed as a DT.

Haha yeah I saw both of those and just laughed... Although that isn't the first time I've seen Jones listed as a DT.Mulva;1424489 wrote:All I looked at was the Browns picks, and they have Trufant listed as Washington State and Jarvis Jones listed as a DT.
No way the Eagles would pass on Joeckel if he was there at 4.Commander of Awesome;1424370 wrote:http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/shutdown-corner-mock-draft-version-2-0-181944856--nfl.html

FBI has flying j headquarters locked down right now. Hoping this doesn't end up as an "only in Cleveland" situation.

Why do they have it locked down?

No details. Media was barred, employees escorted out. Maybe a threat, maybe a raid. Who knows.
Edit: some tweets say IRS is there too. Sounds like a raid.

Draft is getting closer.. What is YOUR final pick?
If Dee Milliner is there. I believe he is the pick. If not Dion Jordan, I think he is going to be great.

@MaryKayCabot: #Browns just announced they have signed kicker Shayne Graham as an unrestricted free agent.

It the top 2 OTs are off the board by #6, that leaves Lane Johnson as the only Elite LT ready to start day one on the board. Cards, Chargers and lolphins all need a LT. Thus we could trade with any of those to trade back. If we trade with the Cards (They would trade wuth us so that the lolphins/SD don't trade in front of them and steal their man) we could get Milliner if he were still on the board.

Not sure how I feel about that. Didnt Graham miss like 3 field goals in a playoff game a few years ago, and single-handily blew it?scoreboard;1426248 wrote:@MaryKayCabot: #Browns just announced they have signed kicker Shayne Graham as an unrestricted free agent.

Yeah, this can't be good. Starting to make sense why Haslam buys that huge mansion in Bratenahl then suddenly has to rush back to Flying J headquarters because he "misses" running the company? Have a feeling old Jimmy knew some chit was about to hit the fan.Mulva;1425993 wrote:FBI has flying j headquarters locked down right now. Interesting perspective from a cowboys fan. As a Browns fan I think the signing is solid. Would've been nice to see kickalicious become a pwn kicker for the Browns though. Any other thoughts from Browns fans?Pick6;1426386 wrote:Not sure how I feel about that. Didnt Graham miss like 3 field goals in a playoff game a few years ago, and single-handily blew it?

Well Pick6, as a cowboys fan, knows the importance of playing under pressure and being able to get the kick down/made. I have confidence that the Browns made a solid signing with Graham.like_that;1426666 wrote:Interesting perspective from a cowboys fan. As a Browns fan I think the signing is solid. Heard talk about the raid at Flying J's has something to do with illegaling purchasing diesel and gasoline and not paying taxes on any of it. IRS is involved.

Graham is ok. Nothing great but it could be worse. We were spoiled with Awesome Dawson being pretty much money from 50+. Same can't be said about Graham.

"Here's a couple of interesting stats on Graham to size him up to the beloved Dawson...
Graham made nine field goals of 50 yards or longer last season for the Houston Texans. Dawson's best year was eight in 2011.
Graham's career kick % is actually slightly higher than Dawson's at 85.4 as opposed to 84 -- although, it should be noted Graham has attempted 76 less field goals (in two less professional seasons).
I find this very interesting, because they're actually similar kickers. Graham has kicked in the state spending seven seasons with the Bengals and made a short stop at New England to show he can kick in adverse weather. "

Hmmm...I thought he was much worse from 50+ last year. Just looked at them and saw he did make nine 50+ yarders. What I found interesting was his long was 51 yards.
