Ross, Scott and Williams all have the talent. It'a obvious that there are just correctable parts of their game missing. LZelle is talented but streaky as fuck.

Just calling it like I see it..Craft isn't any good. Thomas is streaky, but good. OSU is a 1 man overrated basketball team.

Matta definitely doesnt develope guys very well. I think that much is pretty obvious. Diebler is about the only guy who got noticeably better over the years that comes to mind, and even he wasnt as good as I thought he would be.

Is sleeper serious about OSU not making the tournament? They will make the tournament. They are (can be) a good team, just not great IMO.
I was surprised that Kansas won as easily as they did in Columbus, frankly. Although I believed KU would win.

Kansas is a really good team. Nothing to be ashamed of. Withey had a HUGE impact on the game, and OSU couldn't score in the paint. Good thing is they won't face anyone like him in the Big 10.
The concern for OSU is Craft is forcing it offensively and really looks bad at times. I look for Williams, Ross and Scott to continue to improve. Thompson and Smith just have to stay aggressive.

And lost by 6. And shot what 20 something percent. Ku didn't play great d. Osu got any shot they wanted. They made very few of them. Matta wasn't out coached today. No coach in America can make their kid make wide open shots...

Ross sucks, too slow and can't handle the ball. DeChuck Thomas is overrated he just shoots a lot. Craft can't do anything offensively and we have no post game. The only bright spot is Scott but he's a scrawny tweener.
I predict a 8 or 9 seed at best and could see this team missing the tournament.

btw, I never really said Matta was outcoached today...but Self 3, Matta 0. That is being outcoached.

What did I say that was lacking class? I can't have an honest opinion of a team? They're the 7th ranked team in the country, and yet you just said it's going to be a looooong B1G season. That is the definition of overrated. Overrated doesn't equal bad. Just not a top 10 team. I agree that they're not a top ten team, and also agree that at #7 they're overrated, but in my own honest opinion, "Self>>>>>>Matta" and "Craft isn't any good" are classless comments made to rub salt in the wound. Craft has taken a TON of criticism, on here and elsewhere. Even by own Buckeye fans (read this thread). If I didn't hear how great he was by Buckeye fans (read: you), I wouldn't just blabber out that I don't think he's good.
And Self is better than any coach in the country, so don't get your feelings hurt when I say he's better than yours.

Perhaps as good as anyone, but certainly not better than every other coach. Although, there is one coach that I don't think I'd put him on par with at this stage in his career. I've said it for a month, but I honestly think Scott is better than Craft and needs to be given the keys to the car. Craft offensively is attrocious. This team has plenty of talent, its just putting it all together. It's still a bunch of sophomores plus Rav, Craft, Thomas and Smith. The sophomores all need to get a lot of playing time because I think with experience they'll be really good by the end of the year. Can't say the same about Craft and Rav.
