OSU fan here(actually went to school, didn't just pick out random team to root for *cough*) but will say Craft is one of the most overrated college players in recent memory. He's a white kid with a good story who dives around the court and plays aggressive on-ball defense so all of a sudden he's supposed to be a prime Gary Payton, in reality his defense is very good but not great. And his offense is embarrassing. It would be one thing if he had an inability to score but at least took great care of the ball and set his teammates up, but he doesn't do that particularly well either.

LOL...OSU hast lost to Duke at Cameron, and at home by 6 points to Kansas while shooting 30% from the field. This is still a talented team, but yes, they have some work to do. They aren't a great shooting team, but they're also not a 30% team either. I think it's time to put Williams in the starting lineup and let him develop. Scott has improved leaps and bounds from last year. This team will lose some games this year, but I see them being much better by seasons end. Calm down my Chicken Little's.

Craft is great on defense, not good.

Geez....had to watch the last 16 min about 3 hours later. Tough to watch. OSU's offense/shooting was unwatchable. I sit here in my chair and believe we'd score more if Thomas shot 1/2 court shots every possession and we tried to long rebound to score again.

Kansas was the better team.

I'd have OSU about 16th

:laugh:This. I got a text from my dad saying that OSU is NIT bound and another saying they'll get a 6th seed. They lost to Duke and Kansas and it's like the end of the world. I do think that Scott is better than Craft, I think Scott-Ross-Smith-Thomas-Williams is the best 5

It's ridiculous. Did he play sports? Mine only played golf while I played golf, basketball and lacrosse in high school and it seems like those who have played sports don't freak out. I'll yell and scream, but at moments when it's called for, not just at every random thing

Ross? Seriously? Dude is like a deer in headlights. Can't keep his head in the game. Eventually he'll be good, but not until he can play without thinking so much. It takes him way too long to make decisions.

Not a terrible loss considering the "cold hands" which does happen from time to time, but my bigger concern is the Bucks lack of a big man talent in the paint. Doesn't seem to be that guy who challenges opponents driving or swinging into the middle with any consistency.

btw, I never really said Matta was outcoached today...but Self 3, Matta 0. That is being outcoached.

It is called being out-recruited. Kansas has better players this year and they had better players last year. McLemore and Withey are both projected to be 1st round picks in the 2013 draft. OSU doesn't have a 1st round pick on the roster.

What great coaching move did Self make? Let's double and triple Thomas and see if the other players can beat us. GENIUS!!!!!!

I'm getting pretty sick of the people who blame Matta for the losses. In the big games we've lost over the years, it's been because we've shot SO poorly. That's not Matta's fault, that's on the players.

My dad didnt play sports and I think he really only started watching them a lot more so he'd have something to talk to me about. Since I don't care for farming lol.

Agreed. It just shows the ignorance of people when they say one successful coach "outcoaches" another successful coach. When your team shoots 31% and goes 8/31 from the 3, that's not being outcoached, that's being outshot and outplayed.

Self is a good coach and the reason I like him is that he gives credit where it belongs, to the players. Players win games coaches can lose them. I don't think Matta has lost any games.I think KU's players won them.

Haha, retard.

Team rankings:

2011:
Ohio State-10
Kansas-29

2010:
Ohio State-3
Kansas-23

2012, no one really contributed in yesterday's game, and obviously weren't there last year.

And Deshaun Thomas is projected early 2nd, lets not pretend he's not on NBA team's radars.

lol @ what great coaching move did Self make...funniest thing you posted, which is pretty sad considering how all around wrong you were.

Come on..you're crazy if you don't think Matta being 10x the coach Self is had ANYTHING to do with the last 3 games. All 3 times, both teams had talent..except maybe OSU this year.

The argument can be made that maybe Matta needs to draw up some practice plans to improve shooting.

Self is an excellent coach, but how can you say he "outcoached" someone when he beat them by 11 pts (at home, OSU w/o Sully), 2 pts (Final Four, great game!) and 8 pts (with 4 seniors). S&L, you know the game, and I think you know this wasn't the case of anyone getting outcoached by anyone. Kansas has better players. Period.

I'm not saying it's a gross mismatch in coaching...just that if you win 3 times over a team (both teams in the top 10, all 3 times) in 12 months, it's coaching.

OSU's talent last year was equal, if not better, than KU's last year. And Self got 2 wins.

Not in the first game, they played without sully. And def not yesterday. Kansas much more talented. I'll give you the final 4 game though.

If you turn the tables yesterday, self doesn't coach osu to a win. And that's not debatable. No way... You can't shoot under 25% in a second half and win against a quality team.

So by all your theory, no less talented team has ever beaten a more talented team?

You know it is possible to coach a less talented team to victory, don't you?
