I've got it DVR'd so I shouldn't even be reading this thread, but that kid can freaking drive a race car. I haven't seen a young guy that I've been as impressed with as him since probably Kyle Busch that I can remember off the top of my head. All the comments on here have me excited to watch as I think he has huge potential. I know he is a development driver for EGR I believe but would love for Hendrick Motorsports to get him possibly as Gordon's replacement, even though I think they are grooming Chase Elliott for that spot.GoChiefs;1478246 wrote:Kyle mother ****in' Larson. Holy shit Kyle Larson can wheel it. I'm through the end of the second segment and Larson is driving like a mad man. Austin Dillon is driving damn good too. This is really fun to watch.

Yeah, surprised he's with EGR and not a bigger team.
And Larson with HMS would be awesome. Have him do a full season of Nationwide as a teammate to Regan Smith and that would be fun.

Tony Stewart broke his tibia and fibula in his right leg Tuesday night in a Sprint car crash. He will miss Watkins Glen this weekend. No replacement named yet. I wonder if this will cause owners to try to start limiting racing outside of NASCAR. This is two weeks in a row Stewart has been in bad wrecks racing Sprints. He flipped 5 times in one last week.

I wonder who will fill in for him. Maybe Kyle Larson? I know he's with EGR, but this could give him seat time in a Chevy on Sprint Cup. Nah, they won't bring Larson up already. Especially at a track like The Glen. My guess would be Regan Smith or a road ringer. Maybe phone in a favor to Waltrip to let Martin drive since Vickers is in the 55 this weekend.

I forgot that The Glen is this weekend. I'm guessing a road ringer. Martin would be cool, but that's a Toyota to Chevy. Toyota might not like that. Won't change anything for Tony since he's also the owner. I doubt Haas has enough pull to stop him

Wonder if Tony could get Ron Fellows out of whatever car he is driving and into his. I'm sure Chevrolet would help make that happen as putting Ron Fellows in a car like Tony's could make him a race winner or at least competitive compared to whatever Ron will be in. If not I think it would be Regan Smith or maybe Austin Dillon if he already can't compete for Rookie of the Year next year.
