I traveled down to watch Northland vs Findlay Prep. Northland is a small college team and that was without one of their starters which was out with injury. we were told the injury happen during warmups.

I just don't see Northland being touched in the state.

Don't think anyone can disagree with you. They looked very good without a big time college recruit sitting on the bench.

And I will say that Satch Sullinger does a GREAT job with that team. I don't mean this in a bad way, but often times the City League teams lack discipline. You can't say that about Northland. They play under control and get after it on defense.

It's still a bit premature to say it's over. All it takes is for one team to get hot in the tournament and pull the upset. There have been a number of schools over the years who looked like they were going to run away with it but fall somewhere along the road. Remember when AVSM with Lebron lost to Cincinnati Roger Bacon?

Ya, to say it is over is just dumb. If Northland runs into any team that plays at a high tempo, they very well could upset them. I think Northland lacks conditioning but they are still the best right now hands down.

To say it is over is just dumb. There have been a lot of more highly favored teams NOT repeat. Just last year everyone thought New Knoxville was a lock for D4 and then didn't even make. Plus it's not like Northland dominated D1 last year.

northland is definitely a heavy favorite in D1 but in basketball especially at the high school or college level anything can happen in a one and done setup.

I think the city league gets a bad rap sometimes about discipline because of a few teams. I saw Mifflin last week and thought they were very disciplined on and off the court. Coach does a great job. Watched Northland on TV very good team, great players, if there is a team better in OHio all I can say is WOW!!!!!
