I've seen some pretty healthy debate between the right and the left, and none of it is coming from isaidiots rambling incoherent nonsense. Stop responding to him.

Pays for about 8 days of government. But what you fail to realize is that these rich people would generate 3 times that much revenue in taxes if you cut their taxes 3%.

Get a clue.
gosh a ruddies I realize that actually the reading the available records nd statistics is a little beyond a little acolyte of the rich, you prefer parroting some talking points some talking head fed you. What you might learn is that when we have cut tax rates for the rich, revenues as compared to gdp fall and deficits grow. When the rates have been kept high then we decrease the deficit. And a raise in the tax rate, coupled with putting capital gain tax at the same level as income tax and raising the ceiling on fica collection would significantly move us toward avoiding the financial cliff. But for you, keep parroting.

When will the first African American president do something constructive that will result in the rampant unemployment among African Americans declining? Or will the first African American president continue to confiscate money from the productive labor of others to give to African Americans in return for warehousing and votes? At what point does the first African American president decide that it is a violation of the civil rights of African Americans to enslave them to BIG government and a life of dependency?

The Obama "fiscal cliff" proposal:
1) double the tax increases he campaigned on
2) none of the spending cuts he campaigned on, at least not real cuts in the immediate future
3) additional stimulus (are you fucking kidding me?!?)
4) "elimination" of the debt ceiling

There's leadership and compromise for you. Meanwhile, Obama is out there campaigning to get the public to support this plan while he sends surrogates to try to ram-rod a completely impractical plan on Repubs.

It's nice to see after a very divisive campaign that Obama is moving heaven and earth to unify. What a fraud.

Yeah but the majority of people that, you know, pay taxes are concerned about the country going bankrupt.

Obama has called for a balanced approach and that is not what he's proposing. Gee, I guess he's a liar in addition to being incompetent. I guess he's not the worst POTUS we've had, yet, so the American people gave him 4 more years to bring home that title.

lol, gosh a ruddies the people have voted and some are so bitter. The President's position reflect the will of the American people. And an excellent stance to begin negotiation with the Republican leadership in the House and Senate. You do not concede to your opponents positions to begin a negotiation, especially when your position reflects the will of the American people.

normal response of supporters of a losing and rapidly diminishing point of view. the expressed opinions of those polled reflect enlightened self interest.

I'll agree, my views are of a diminishing point of view. Which explains why we get closer everyday to socialism and economic meltdown. Majority view != correct views.

I don't reject it. I just disagree with the "majority". Hardly a surprise you don't understand that. When Bush was in office, did you reject the representative democracy?

The lemmings just don't realize that Obama is a narcissist that only cares about his own agenda. It's one that will only hurt them in the long-run. In cases of depressions and sovereign default it's the poor that suffer disproportionately, and that's the path Obama is taking us down.

I have little empathy at this point. You voted for it, prepare to reap what you sow.

It's kind of funny. He's now (well at least it's appearing that he's going to) enlist some Republican help to deal with this whole fiscal mess. It's funny because he knows that to save his presidency, alluding to your claim of narcissism, he needs people around who will actually provide a productive opinion.

It would be funny if it wasn't true, instead it's just sad. Obama probably doesn't have some grand agenda, more likely he's just incompetent and ignorant. Probably should have spent a little more of his time at the b-school instead of law school at Chicago.
