Third time in 10 years a Thad Matta coached team knocked off the nation's last undefeated team? St. Joe's, Illinois, Michigan.

I wasn't as nervous. He has a good stroke and usually a confident player.Fly4Fun;1365277 wrote:I was extremely nervous with Lenzelle at the line... glad he pulled it off though!
Great win for Ohio State. Hopefully gives them some more confidence.

At first glance you might think Michigan lost this from the way they played the 1st 10 minutes. But they lost it the last 5 minutes. Had the momentum, and then for some reason I don't think they shot anything but a contested, hurried 3 point shot that whole time.
Anyway, not surprised by the outcome, but surprised by the start. It might actually be good to lose, and get that pressure off their back. Just wish it weren't against OSU.

Burke with a pedestrian day. 15-4-4 on 4-13 shooting while abusing no one.

These are the types of games the voting committee will remember come March whether or not to put you in the tourney or NIT!

OSU gets 19 wins before MSU games, @ Wisky, and 5 more top 15 matchups.
If it comes down to it, I think they beat Illinois at home the final game of the year. They can definitely play with MSU and the only Minny game is @ the Schott.

Correct. Actually was thinking about that earlier. And one other year he had the last unbeaten team. Pretty amazing.
Huge win for Ohio State. Thompson had some big plays, Lenzelle had a ton of rebounds even though he only scored like 6 points, Craft was fantastic on defense, and Deshaun did his thing. Wasn't writing Ohio State off yet but today showed they do have potential Final Four potential again. Needed to get a big win to get momentum.

I thought Burke would shoot a little better, but overall played about as well as I expected. Rebounded well and passed well. Michigan didnt play as well as I expected (awesome for the Hoosiers! lol).
I think only 1 person thought Burke would abuse Craft, Wildcats.
I gave predictions and stuff, but never thought he would dominate him offensively.

He had very very few open looks. Craft was awesome on him today.

Which I expected, but I also expected him to make a few. He missed a lay-up (block) and a transition pull up that he doesnt usually miss. Craft had nothing to do with those.Midstate01;1365539 wrote:He had very very few open looks. Craft was awesome on him today.

Craft did slow him down on the layup which allowed Scott to catch up for the block.Laley23;1365558 wrote:Which I expected, but I also expected him to make a few. He missed a lay-up (block) and a transition pull up that he doesnt usually miss. Craft had nothing to do with those.

He made him go left and to the other side of the basket. Gave Scott time to get there.

As soon as I posted that, I knew someone would have that answer. lolMidstate01;1365563 wrote:He made him go left and to the other side of the basket. Gave Scott time to get there.
I think you both understand what I meant. It wasnt the halfcourt offense. I figured Burke would get double digits from transition alone.

He's incredible in the open floor.

Yeah he is. I actually liked the Chris Paul analysis. I remember him at Wake as a Frosh. Very similar in the open floor.Midstate01;1365579 wrote:He's incredible in the open floor.
