It was a good win considering Purdue just beat the Illinois team that smoked the Bucks. Purdue is a mediocre team, but it was a solid win considering what happened in Champaign.

Which just proves how important every B1G game is. Purdue may not have been a "solid" win in terms of Purdue's record, but any road game in the B1G won't be easy. So every B1G game, especially on the road, is a "solid" win this year.

It was more solid because they will likely fall to 1-3 if they loss and they escaped after Purdue made a very valiant run towards the last 6 minutes.

It was definitely a solid win because it was a road B1G game that OSU desperately needed.

No one is claiming it's a great resume win come March... but this is definitely one OSU needed.

Good quick blog that hits on the exact same points I've been saying. Craft will play at least 35 minutes in big games when in reality he should probably be a 25-30 minute player and not have the ball entirely in his hands for those minutes.

That was a HUGE win for OSU. Looking at the next two games, they are in danger of a 1-3 stretch, and that's far better than 0-4. If they lose to Purdue, it's hard to imagine them beating either of the Michigan teams. With the win, it provides confidence and maybe they pull an upset.

lol'd.

Really excited for Sunday. Hopefully Awful Craft doesn't show up. Would be huge for Ohio State to get the win and give Michigan their first loss. Will need a total team effort Sunday, but I think Ohio State will be ready to play. Not ready to pick the upset yet though.

I said earlier that OSU will win some games they shouldn't and would pull off an upset or two along the way. Now, I'm not saying that one of these upsets will come on Sunday, but if Craft and Smith,Jr. are knocking down shots, who knows?

I've only been able to see some of Michigan this year. The entire WVU game, which they rolled, and some of the NC State game.

Other than NC State, they don't have the toughest schedule, so that gives me some hope. I have a few UM fans talking trash early via text...they are thinking blowout. An upset would make my weekend.

I think Michigan wins by about 8. Not a blowout though.

OSU has one thing going for them, they will be the best defense UofM has faced yet. UofM doesnt get to the FT line often, and on the road, that can be and equalizer. But in the end, I just think they have too many players for OSU. Similar to IU and Minny, they have multiple guys who can beat you.

This goes without saying, but OSU MUST shoot the damn ball at a decent percentage. I have zero faith in their ability to shoot from the outside consistently.

I give OSU a chance, only because Craft will be guarding UM's best player. He won't shut him down, but at least he may be able to slow him down.

No way there is a blowout in either direction.

I'm pretty sure Craft handled him last year. He will get his, but go off? I doubt it.

We'll see. He struggled against Craft last year. 16to's to 15ast's against OSU, and shot 33%. Craft has been bad offensively this year, but the defense is till there.

In the B1G tourney against OSU, Burke was 1-11 with 8to's and 5pts.

Burke as well as UofM are MUCH better this year than last. I wouldnt use last year as a measuring stick.
