Sure seems like Te'o had a "Heisman season" to me.The Heisman Memorial Trophy annually recognizes the outstanding college football player whose performance best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity. Winners epitomize great ability combined with diligence, perseverance, and hard work.

I love that people keep penalizing Te'o for ranking low in total tackles. He led one of the best defenses in the country in tackles. Ideally, you wouldn't want a high total of tackles. Bottom line, Te'o is the only player in history to have 100+ tackles and 7 INTs in the same season. Not sure how that's not impressive?

It's tougher to get noticed when you are up against everyone else at the 3:30 spot. When you're the only game on, it's easier to get the bigger audience. And if you come up big in those situations, it goes a long way.
