As soon as you explain Florida State to me. Lost to NC State and beat Virginia Tech by 6. I just don't get it at all.

Alternate ending: As soon as you explain Kansas State to me. Lost by 4 touchdowns to Baylor and beat Iowa State by 6. I just don't get it at all.

Can you explain your hate for SEC teams and how you have A&M above LSU, how you have FSU so high who hasnt proved nothing, how you have Stanford as high as you do when Washington beat them whom LSU crushed by 40 points. run on sentence
This year is probably the most even top 10 we have where no one is a true #1. ND would get beat by most of the top 10 without a doubt. It would be a joke if that caliber of a team makes the title game.
And there is no standout player for Heisman.

We need a playoff!!

lol, Ole Miss is probably a top 5 team if they were able to hang with a team of lsu's caliber for that long, right? Is that the caliber of team you are comparing Notre Dame to? LSU is fucking awful. Awful.

FSU will beat UF. There's your SEC. UND is the clear #1 albeit by default. They can beat half the top 10 which is why this year is so great.

Here we go with cats gone wild once again throwing a tantrum over anyone who dares post up a differing ranking of the top teams based purely on each person's opinion. Opinions in a thread that starts with "your"?! Forget everyone's opinions, let cats gone wild tell you how to think. He is the smartest guy I know. God forbid anybody remind him a run of the mill big 12 team ran train on the heads and shoulders best team in the sec with a freshmen QB.

I just don't know why everyone put's Georgia over OSU. What kind top 3-4 team loses by 28 points to teams? Not a team worthy of jumping an undefeated team.

History repeats itself. Everyone thinks it's so easy to win all the games on your schedule. Send out an email to the 122 other schools who couldn't do this.

It's not just losing to teams better than you either, you can't just expect to beat all the teams your supposed to beat. Shit happens in a game. Penalties, Turnovers, Luck, you name it.

It takes a freaking special season to make it through unscathed, and at some point you should get some credit for it.

After viewing some of the ap ballots being submitted this is how the top 5 probably will go.

1. Notre Dame (1400 points)
2. Alabama (1250 points)
3. Ohio State (1230 points)
4. Georgia (1188)
5. Oregon (1180)

(points are just to show how close it seems)

If Notre Dame loses to USC

You'll have AP either choosing an undefeated team or a 1 loss team for their national champs.

USC, when they took the AP poll, made it clear they were split champs. The MEDIA made it clear USC was the AP champs and a split champs.

It's huge and it's a real possibility. We just need a little more craziness.

Even if Notre Dame doesn't lose to USC, say Georgia/Alabama/Florida win an ugly game in the championship. At the end of the day, does a 1 loss team over take the undefeated?

If OSU beats Michigan by 30 (just like Alabama did), that's all on people's minds as well.

lol

So if we were to get a trophy saying National AP Champs - and go down in history being co-national champs in the media and the history books. it'd still be meaningless because it wasn't from the mighty BCS?
