Forgive me if this topic has already been posted. I just joined and looked through the first five pages and didn't see anything. After 3-7, 1-9, and 2-8 seasons is Kelly Wolfe out as the coach at Logan? I for one haven't went to too many games the last three seasons and from what I've heard attendance has been down. With it costing an average family at least $25 to attend a game, they don't want to see a 50-00 blowout loss to a division 5 opponent.

You wont get much talk about Logan on here. Though GoChiefs is from Logan not many others talk football in SEO. You'll get a better convo on Southeasternohiopreps

Logan has always been a "fairweather" fan base. If they aren't winning, the people don't show up. I'm guilty of that as well. But I live 2 and a half hours away and have to use vacation days to attend games, so as you said, I don't want to waste a vacation day to see a Division 5 school beat us 50-0. I am a Kelly Wolfe fan, and I do think he deserves another year, mainly because of the lack of talent, but Logan is about winning, and 6-24 obviously isn't getting the job done. I think this was the last time you see him as a head coach of the Chieftains. Whether it's true or not, I heard some rumblings about Amyx wanting to come back? I believe the younger kids had some success, so the future might not be looking too grim at this time.

Sports have went downhill pretty quickly at Logan...from the big sports to the small.

Eh, besides football and track, no other sports have really been relevant or cared about in Logan. Basketball back in the day, but it's been a while.

It's especially sad considering the new facilities we have, although I still like Jackson's stadium better.

I've yet to make it to see Jackson's stadium. I believe they play at Jackson next year, so maybe Logan vs Jackson will be worth the trip. :thumbup:

The only time I've been there was for a Jackson vs. Wellston game. I was very impressed.

Apparently he just didn't see it coming and wanted to continue. He said he was blindsided. Not sure why you would be blindsided with 6 wins in 3 years. No word on a replacement. I really hope they go outside this time. Don't bring in another Logan boy. Bring in somebody from outside the program, give him full reign, and tell the parents to stay the hell out of it.

I agree 100%. Yeah, I don't see how you could be blindsided with a 6-24 record including some really embarrassing home losses. I also don't see anybody in the Logan system that could step up to be the next coach.

The level of talent is not all that bad, when you win track and wesling championships there is talent and one job of the head coach and his staff is to develop the talent! That being said and a record of 3-7, 1-9 and 2-8 it was time for Coach Wolfe to move on!
